@@derpylion2389 I really like Creepypasta, never heard about "the proxy" though, I have to look that one up. The name is just very old and actually about boring proxy servers.
Genuine fear. Not cheap jumpscares, these environments, the feeling of being stalked. That is true human instinct. Seriously, props to the creator, I have never had to hide in the comments before,
I always hide at the comments in these videos, so you know what? I'm gonna man up and (try to) watch the video comment-less. I'll give an update later. :v Edit: Halfway and Jack scared me shitless with his screams. Jesus christ. Wait- I already failed the damn challenge. Fck.
I don't feel scared of creepy environment and feeling of being stalked. I am afraid of jumpscares and the feeling of being chased. As I know that I am not that fast. And I am claustrophobic so I feel scared when I am deep in the sea that's way Subtaunic makes me genuinely scared.
Everyone's here talking about their own dreams but it makes me sad that jack somehow subconsciously feels like he doesn't deserve what he has :( Dude you deserve the world for the genuine love and care you put into this channel and you should know that.
The worst part about this is every time Sean stopped crinchy cronching in the snow, there would always be *an extra step* that would just put me on e d g e
The design of this game is actually really good, the darkness that is created by the dark trees, and every time you move you see gaps within trees and it creates the illusion of movement in the trees with the white snow blow your feet, until you actually see movement while you stop to read the text below which creates a sense of unease as you are unable to tell the difference between the darkness actually moving and the darkness not moving at all
@@solidtanya1349 I know what you mean. I was just confused, then all of the sudden Jackaboy just *S C R E A M S* right in my ear, and I jumped about 10 feet.
I hate to bust ur bubble but that isn’t how colorblindness works, at 11:03, he says he sees a bunch of em, now I guess maybe colorblindness could effect his ability to see the red ghosts, But I’m not colorblind and I can barely see them
I actually have dreams where there's no sound. And in these dreams sometimes I die, but when I die I feel a sharp sense of pain till when I wake up. These dreams are also blurry and I tend not be able to tell what things are. I also tend to have this one dream that happens once a year, where I'm killing like fifty different zombies XD
@@multovale After my 2 tours in Afghanistan I started having Apocalyptic dreams as well. Mine was more of an Elder Gods than zombies however. On a side note when I was deployed I got some of the best sleep I have ever had.... Not sure what anybody would do with this information... I guess if you want some good sleep just go have a gun battle with somebody than go to bed.
Scrolling through these comments is like going through a reddit thread of “what are the weirdest/scariest dreams you’ve ever had” and it is quite enjoyable
I love that Robin edited in that the enemies were red so when Sean watches this back he's just gonna see the note and be like "aw fok, are you kidding me?!"
It feels so Alaskan. Walking in the woods at night during winter, is exactly this. The crisp snow, the bare trees with a dark gray sky looming over. Strange noises in the woods. Creepy abandoned places. Its a great game design
“Do you guys have dreams like this?” Yes. And it sucks especially if it’s a nightmare. I’ve even had dreams that continued in a future sleep. Which just is surreal, in a way.
Yes same my dream is when there is a murderer that chases me and then when i try to hide from a closet and then i hear foot steps comming then i wake up the next day im at the same dream and the same spot like a continiu like that its so scary. =~=
My sister had a nightmare about clowns and some longer period (months) after she had the continuation of that same nightmare. With me it's just that my dreamscapes look similar and oftenly it's about failure->homeroom teacher literally chasing me around and screaming at me.
the scariest dream I ever had was one time I was standing in front of a mirror in the bathroom and I saw a little thing sticking out of my face. I assumed it was a hair or something so I started pulling it out. I kept pulling it and more came out as the weird strand-like thing kept getting thicker. I kept pulling until at least a foot or so of this thread stuff had been pulled out. I yoinked at it again and I felt some resistance, but I was pretty determined to get whatever that junk was out of my face. Finally, i gave it one last tug and like half of my face came off with it. It was so graphic, I tore skin and flesh and half of my lips off. I woke up sweating and panicked and I ran to the bathroom to make sure my face was still there. It was, but I was so spooked that every little dent/hair/pimple or little imperfection on my skin was scaring me. I was so stressed I watched Cartoon Network reruns to cope. I did NOT go back to bed.
I had a similar one where I had this huge blackhead and I squeezed it and stuff just KEPT COMING OUT and it wouldn't stop. It really triggered my dermatillomania (compulsive skin picking disorder) and I was so uncomfortable ;-;
Omg. I had a dream like this. But I had a loose tooth, I pulled it out and some blood-covered "string" was attached to it and I kept pulling and pulling and more and more of it came out of my jaw... it was hard to pull, it almost hurt, but it was definitely scary because I couldn't understand what it was and why I was able to pull so much of it out. I don't remember how it ended or how I woke up.
I had a really freaky dream that was really vivid and realistic, but forgot, I remember that the rake jump scared me in it now u think its scary even though I forgot it
I used to have a reoccurring dream where I would go to a sleepover where everyone was telling ghost stories. The host of the sleepover told us about the lady she sometimes saw walking down the hallway. After we all went to bed, I could never sleep. I would be facing the person sleeping next to me, then I would roll over to see a semi-transparent woman with a smile that stretched from ear to ear. She had glimmering teeth like small knives and eyes that were wide, black and watery. Her breath was hot as a sauna and smelled awful. She had weird gill-like slits on the sides of her throat that rippled like she was excited. I always screamed, which made everyone else scream, and because I’m very sound-sensitive the screaming would always startle me awake. The last time I had that dream, I remembered what would happen before I rolled over and I buried my face into the pillow. I woke up without screaming that time. I’m very happy to say that I haven’t had that dream for years now.
Blueberry Syddiko This is the most horrifying dream telling stories , I've ever heard from anyone ! Dude if I saw that lady ,,, I would yeet myself out and now I'm scared
The last dream i had was Gordon Ramsey yelling, "You fricken Muppet" to Kermit the frog and Kakashi and Levi doing a ballerina dance off in the background with Eren and Deku crying in the corner
Lmao xD Mine was being Batman’s sidekick after I watched all Batman related movies. That dream was a blast ngl, had to write it down in journal since if was so detailed. Alternate dimension me is having a blast..lucky bitch
That moment when Jack's red/green color blindness prevents him from seeing the otherwise obviously intimidatingly floating red fabric things within the woods.
Welcome to the comments! We've got a cozy blanket, snacks, and other scared people( with a loud Irish man screaming in the background) have fun!(I'm scared too ^_^)
I think the worst thing is when you wake up feeling like something absolutely horrible has happened, knowing that you had a terrifying nightmare, your heart pounding and drenched in sweat, but you cannot for the life of you remember what your dream was about. All you know is that you had the worst nightmare you've ever had, and you're afraid to go back to sleep because of it, but you will never remember exactly what it was. I also have dreams where I'm driving my car and my brakes don't work so I die - thanks to being a control freak, loss of control is my recurring nightmare.
Hey Jack, i recommend Lost In Vivo. It's the scariest game i've ever seen because it's great at building tension, and the sound design is also some of the scariest i've heard in a game. I really really recommend it.
when I was little I had a recurring nightmare, I still remember it clearly,, there were kids my age in my house but the walls were made of glass and mirrors, and I always felt this dreading anxiety. Then a woman's voice would call to me to find a bridge or she'd kill my older brother, the kids my age wouldn't help me and would only run away from wherever I looked. I was so scared that I wouldn't save my brother from the woman and every time I saw a bridge and went towards it, I would wake up breathless like I had almost died myself.
I can’t believe no one is talking about Robin’s edit when he said “GO BACK TO AZKABAN” and then showed The assCabin in the Woods?!?!?! AZKABAN ASSCABIN GET IT OH MY GOD
SleekLaberdo no they don’t really. I’m red-green colourblind same as him and I saw it slightly before he did (to be fair he was reading) but it took me a long time and they did not look red at all (to me) they were more brown or black most of the time
I love how everyone in the comments had recent scary dreams and I’m here like I had a dream where I went to the movies with Aziraphale and Crowley from good omens 😂😂😂😂
it’s strange how,, you can remember a dream for a few minutes after, maybe more if you’re lucky, but then you try to remember later and it’s completely gone
If you want to improve recall, journal whatever you can recall. Even writing down vague impressions. Don't worry about accuracy at first, just scrawl down or dictate the first things that come to mind. It builds up your mental muscles pretty quickly.
Izzi Kat yep that’s exactly what I do. If I remember my dream when I wake up and immediately get my phone to just write down bullet points of what it was about
I actually do have one. So the dream goes like this: Im in a bus and its late, just heading home after a long day of school, its winter but whithout snow. Im alone in the bus since no one really travels at that hour. There is however a very thick fog the kind where you dont see 2m in front of you. The bus sudently stopes at a curve that conects the city where i go to school with the village i live in. The doors open and i get out(no exolanation, no nothing) . Its freezing cold. I start walking and giving the place, near me is a forest on the right side of the road, trees like in this game but there are also a lot of ravens circling above something in the distance.(now for better understanding on the left side of the road its like a wide field, but to get there its a little drop so a guard rail had to be put to prevent the cars from sliding) I make my way there and i see the guard rail of the road destroyed by a car bent towards the drop; windows broken car wrecked, but one headlight still flickers in the mist. As i get closer i see two more cars in front of this one. They were all wrecked. No survivors. Even worse... All this cars were packed full with people.. everyone is dead... Some were trown trough the windshield, some trough the side windows, bleeding from the shards of glass stuck in their necks, with hands and necks broken...twisted...some made it out and started crawling but eventually bled out and died... No one was alive, just a pool of blood and corpses.. As i aproach this i feel nothing... Im numb... I keep walking and as i get closer i hear them... Their eyes were empty...dead... Nothing else is moving besides their lips... They each keep repeating the same phrases before they died ( "yes mom im gonna be home soon, don't worry... Yes mom im gonna be home soon, don't worry..) and again and again like a broken disk.. ...discussions between the passengers... Laughter... As i get closer to what seems to be a women...neck and legs twisted.. hand on the car hood dripping blood... The laughter and the speech turns into screaming... Only her lips still talked..."Its not my fault" "Its not my fault" "Its not my fault" over and over again...after standing there for a while i decide to move on...thats when she grabs my wrist, her cold eyes stare deep into my soul and with a soft voice says: "no, there is nothing for you there,... Not yet"... Then i wake up.... This is my recurring dream. It doesn't matter how many times i try i can't go past her... there is nothing unusual past her... just the road... It continues. Wow i wrote a lot.. I doubt someone will read this.. But if you somehow get here... Im sorry for the english mistakes... Its my second language.
My most remembered dream was a couple weeks back. I was going about my daily life doing random things. I would be at school, in the car with friends, at home on the couch. I kept getting phone calls from my grandad who committed suicide. It was so realistic, he was constantly asking me how the family was, and that I’m doing okay now. I never got to answer him. Every single time I got the call I would be surrounded by people but once it ended I would be alone. I would try to prove he was still calling me but nobody believed me. Then in real life I would see on my recent calls that I had called him when I wouldn’t remember calling him. Still freaks me out
That could be a sign that his spirit is still around and is trying to contact you in your dreams. Me and my mom get similar dreams about my grandma who died when I was 8 and the same thing happened with her brother a few days after he was killed. But then again I'm a big believer in spiritual things.
Previous month I was able to receive my first five figure income ever!!! I've been working for this provider on the web for twenty four months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most important thing about it is the fact I am not that tech-savvy, they just asked for standard knowledge about internet and common typing skill...The best thing about this work is that I have more free time for my kids. I am in a position to spend quality time with my friends and family and take care of my babies and also going on family holiday along with them very frequently. Don't let pass this opportunity and make sure to respond rapidly. Check it out, what I do... *worth48.com*
The scariest dream I've ever had... I was at my grandparents home in that dream. They have this old house in the middle of a forest, a 20 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. I remember reading about creatures that were described as “zombies“ but they weren't like your typical zombies. The visual difference between them and humans is that they are cross-eyed and speak in a weird way. I was sitting on my bed in my own room, reading an article about those zombies when my grandma walked in. I looked at her but she didn't stare at me, directly... because she was cross-eyed. I remember being so scared. She asked me if we would finish making a bracelet that we started earlier. I went downstairs with her and cried the whole time, while she just stared at me, grinning while finishing the bracelet. She wanted to eat me, she told me that and I screamed. Then I woke up. The whole atmosphere of the dream was absolutely terrifying.
For Seán to read if he’s curious about what his dreams of dying mean: I own a dream interpretation guide. It says: “Dreams of actually...being killed or murdered...are not very common, but if you do experience such dreams they may indicate deep and unresolved emotional and psychological conflicts that are interfering with your emotional and psychological health in waking life. There is part of you that feels dead or out of control or there is a part of your life that you wish would disappear.” Source if anyone wants to know: “The Element Encyclopedia of 20,000 Dreams” by Theresa Cheung
Tully Smully I’m not a professional, but I wouldn’t be worried. Basically, dreams bring to the surface what we already feel deep down. They are our brain’s way of working out waking problems while we sleep. My own worst dreams are about failure, which I know stems from me being extremely hard on myself. Dreams about dying could mean anything from literally wanting to die to feeling unfulfilled in your place in life. I just take my dreams as a chance to reflect on my own life. I hope that helps 😊
Damnn, I sometimes get this recurring dream where I’m at school but a warped version of it and then this like murderer is chasing me through the whole school and while I run around from floor to floor and hide with one of my teachers, the killer ends up killing the teacher I’m hiding with, then drags me out the door and then I wake up. Hasn’t happened in a while though
@@aeternumcaelum1428 oh wow, I once had a vivid dream that my teacher was this monster thing that was trying to eat my brother, so I tried to save him but I got eaten instead. That was not a fun night for me....
My dreams were often nightmares, ones that play into my fears psychologically. They're not always the same, but they all share one theme: the fear of my voice being drowned out and that no one will ever listen to me or value my opinion. Every time,I wake up crying and shaking because of how realistic it would be,like my family accusing me of awful things and me being unable to defend myself as I lose my voice over and over. It's awful.
Everyone in the comments talking about how their dreams are like well-directed horror movies, while mine are like my dog backflips in my window singing Baby by Justin Bieber as I sit in the shower, eating mayonnaise out of the jar
Yeah all the time and it happens because you fall asleep too fast so your body thinks you're dying. In order to prevent that, the feeling you get is a rush of adrenaline that your mind sends to your body to make sure you're not dead.
My friend told me that means that angels are bringing you to heaven. but when you feel your self falling, they dropped you. Also, I usually used to feel my bed turning, so my friend told me that means i was gonna go hell. I didn't believer her. ._.
I've had dreams like that but NEVER from a rollercoaster. And I don't often have dreams. It's just me staring into a dark abyss then shortly waking up.
This game taps into all of my worst fears. I am not kidding, my worst fear is getting lost in a forest miles from civilization, and the feeling of being stalked makes every tree branch look like a demon, especially during the winter when there are only two colors, dark grey trees and blindingly white snow. DAMN this game...
10:18 i was like wtf Sean ur walking right into RED flying ghosts man, u cant tell me that you didnt saw them but then i remembered that he is colorblind... rip
@@tylermccann1744 11:22 yeah, he only realized it as soon as the things were moving right next to him... i think he could saw the shape of it but it looked like brown/black for him and not red and he saw only the right one and later the left one too
"Your brain doesn't really know where to go after [dying in a dream], so you wake up from it. Because after that happens in the dream it's like, 'Okay, well what do we do now?' because we don't know what goes beyond that, which i find fascinating." True, true. Maybe when we die in this reality, we wake up from this life, and it continuous endlessly. I've had dreams before where I've experienced an entire lifetime and woke up grieving for the people I'd met and loved, so I wouldn't say it's impossible.
I tend to dream about alternative reality and versions of myself. So not even just lifetimes, but maybe you experience alternate realities of yourself.
In my dream the other night, I was chilling at a McDonald's when the lights flickered on and off. I was confused but really calm for some reason. In a real setting like this I would probably piss my pants. Anyway, the lights flickered and I was the only person in the McDonald's. All of a sudden the automatic sliding doors open. No one comes in. The door just stays open and I'm like "what the hell is going on?" The lights stop flickering for about two seconds I think and then all the lights turn off. It's pitch black for a bit. I don't move but something does. I know that whatever it is, it's huge since the ground shakes with each step. The lights turn back on and at the entrance was this massive black goop monster with yellow eyes and sharp teeth. I know that it was scary to see this creature but for some reason I wasn't scared of it. I was just like "Well, that's a thing." It stared at me for a while and then ran at me. My dad woke me up at the same time. Makes me wonder what would have happened if my dad didn't wake me. Oh well 🤷
Honestly dreams are so weird. You can go from having dreams that don’t make sense and don’t abide by the laws of Physics or you could have dreams that make you feel like you’re living in real life.... it’s so strange but so fascinating
ali is lost I wrote this comment inspired off what you said. I’m working on writing a novel. Here it is. Actually, I do occasionally have dreams like this. For me and for others they may be called “sleep paralysis” or “nightmares”. To me they will and always will be, my life. Fear, depression, anxiety, and the thoughts of the silence blocking out everything. When I speak in these dreams, it is not comforting, nor is it soft and relaxing, it is simply unsettling, loud, and does not match the deadly silence all around. Occasionally you may hear a growl, a tree branch snap, but as my old grandparents used to say “every step you take, is one closer to death”. So I guess I’m going straight into the slow, gaping, sharp, mouth of hell itself.
Yeah and it's all because the brain is processing information or something and your subconscious plays a part in them too! My dreams are usually pretty happy so I love remembering them, I also lucid dream every now and then so they are quite fun!
The Recent dream that I’ve had is about Johnny Depp and Dwayne Johnson Being friends with me since childhood, and we were in a band called "Epic Bronado" i was the guitarist. Dwayne was the Drummer and Johnny was the Lead Vocalist.
The last dream I remember is the same dream I have every night. I’m trying to put it in a game myself now. Teach myself programming, so maybe someday I can design a way to escape my nightmare in my waking hours. I’m rarely able to in my sleep. In the dream, I’m in a garage. But not a normal sized one - this one is massive. I can’t see the walls, the door inside, or the garage door itself because of how big it is, and also because there are shelves everywhere, arranged like a maze. Every shelf is covered in sawdust, power tools, model trains, spare parts, and various other things that can be found in a garage or any catch-all place. Some shelves are solid and have backings. Some don’t, and you could look through them if you just moved some of the boxes and junk out of the way. But I don’t have time to organize. If I’m lucky, I can’t hear it yet, but I will: the approaching footsteps and searching call of my abuser, looking for me. It’s his garage that I’m in. In the center of it all, there’s a spot cleared with a large white table and an enormous model train set on it. In one of the corners, there’s a bed - which is the worst thing for me to find as I weave through this maze, because I know that’s where he’s trying to corner me or drag me. If I’m lucky, I’ll find the door that leads inside - for some reason, whatever is behind that door is safe in my dream. But when I get to the door, one of 3 things happens. 1) the door is locked, the key may or may not be in the mess of a maze, and usually I see a workbook rounding the corner and I either startle myself awake or end up being dragged screaming to his bed; 2) I open the door and leave; or 3) the door opens before I get to it, and my husband pulls me through the door and into his arms, and I’m as safe as I could possibly be. I never know how it’ll end - it changes randomly. Sometimes, I get caught without ever seeing the door. Once, I woke up having never seen him or the door - just wandering endlessly.
Does anyone else feel like the game may not have been showing a dream? It mentions about how the dream is constantly reoccuring but the character cannot remember how he got out of the forest so my thoughts are that the character is actually trapped in a forest and the monsters and ‘waking up’ (without opening eyes) are just psycholocal tricks from being lost and tired???
Yeah... my dreams aren’t fun... I have hyper realistic dreams to the point of I can’t differentiate between dreaming and reality. I have all of my senses when I’m dreaming, I remember the smells the tastes... My most recent one was my friend getting hit by a car and dying in my arms... I could not stop crying when I woke up and texted him right away, but it still feels so real. I remember the light draining from his eyes and feeling him go limp... once this quarantine is over and I see him again, I think I will hug him for an hour just to be sure he’s real...
Are all your dreams scary or do you have good dreams as well. Either way I can only feel sorry for you because I can't relate. I really do hope you have good dreams too.
I feel like this is pretty common but the scariest dream I've ever had went like this: I wake up in a tiny concrete coffin (i'm claustrophobic, this is terrifying for me) with no way out. I kick and push at it only to bloody myself up because it's concrete. I try to scream but the only sound that comes out is tiny raspy squeaks. And the worse part is, the more I struggle, the smaller it gets. I feel my chest become so heavy to the point where it's impossible to breath then I wake up. I'm not someone who gets nightmares a lot, but I do get sleep paralysis a lot more often than I'd say the average person gets. So, having these type of nightmares seem pretty common. Thanks for reading 😊
Here's a dream that I often had: Sometimes when I was lying on my bed I subconsciously fell into a dream where I'm constantly falling into a bottomless abyss. It's not a long dream but when you wake up it's really weird because your brain thinks that there is nothing below but you are lying on your bed so your muscles contract confusedly until you realize you were dreaming.
Not quite the same but one dream I have every now, been a while now though, is me sitting on a swing that reaches the clouds, swingning and swingning and eventually I jump off, I wake up at that point, every time lul.
This happens to a lot of people (me included) especially immediately after falling asleep. Presumably, as you're lying in bed waiting to fall asleep, your body is still a bit tense. When you finally go unconscious, your whole body suddenly relaxes, which makes you sink more into the mattress. That small movement, even if it's barely there, makes your brain think that you're falling, so you suddenly tense up to "brace for impact" - which, in turn, wakes you up. I've found that consciously relaxing when going to bed, not only helps me fall asleep faster, but also helps avoid that falling sensation. When you lie down, close your eyes and visualize your body - starting from your toes and going all the way up to your abdomen, chest, shoulders, arms, neck. And as you "pass" each area, make a conscious effort to completely relax it. After that, you can also take in a deep breath and, as you exhale, visualize a wave washing over you, taking every worry and negative thought with it. Sweet dreams~
The last dream I remember was my pet lizard had a blow hole on top of her head, like a whale does, and for some reason she was spouting parasitic worms out of it like she was trying to rid her system of them. I remember feeling stressed and sad because she was visibly in pain and dying and I could do nothing. I woke up to a healthy lizard and a feeling of great relief. A bit of a nightmare I suppose. Really weird one.
This reminds me too much of when I had to take a piss in the middle of the night in Norway when I was little. It was the dead of night in a dark and gloomy forest and all you could hear was the sound of your heart beating and the stream lightly cobbling. I had to walk for a bit to get away from the tents, every step I made bashing the silence. It always felt as if something was watching me from the trees, trying it's hardest to merely make the slightest of movements before going in for the kill.. -Anyways best piss I've ever taken 10/10 would be traumatized again
i had to actaully walk from home (well ride my bike) every time and it was already night when i was going back home and for some reason there is a street light glowing in the middle of the forest and ppl say it was a few houses but then it was blown to bits in the world war.....idk i find it fascinating how there is a FUCKIN STREET LIGHT GLOWING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FOREST WITHOUT ELECTICITY
Response To Jack’s comment, “ Do you get dreams like this?” When I was younger I had many recurring dreams. This was not one of them, but it still disturbs me to this day. I was walking down an alleyway around this small cobbled street. Houses surrounded. Lanterns lighting up the door ways. Street lamps illuminated the roads. As I walked down I took a side road. Walking to an unknown destination I wasn’t aware of. Halfway down the shaded side road I see a man. He looks just how a shady dude would. Fedora and black trench coat. He stood under an arch and as I approached him he removed his hat. He had a snowy white hair and his face was covered in green make up. I walked over to him. He was the first person I saw in what I assumed was hours of strutting down streets and knocking on doors. As I approached him he moved to face me. And then, he stabbed me in the stomach. I woke up crying. I never screamed when I had a nightmare. I always cried. You would think murder was a strange thing for a seven year old to think about. But for me I saw it every night inside my mind. Nightmares had become dreams. Currently, I have less murder dreams. The usual is just seeing other people suffer death, or being kidnapped and chased by people. It doesn’t really affect me anymore. Any way if you read my entire story, Thanks. I probably sound a bit crazy.
That's creepy as heck When I was younger for like a week id have a recurring dream of going to like a midnight church and every night I'd sit in the same pew but what happened every night would change Like one night my pew floated and another there was a large man and I heard it was God and he got cut in half and there was the headless horseman too
I have nightmares pretty much every night, for many years, and sprinkled with night terrors and one episode of sleep paralysis. They can be graphic, I can hear the wet thunk from bones breaking, the emotion in myself and the terrified sounds of those hurt/dying. Usually of my children. I wake up and go check on them in their rooms. I don't talk about them irl, they're too upsetting to share/relive.
“Do you have dreams?” I do. The scariest one I can remember is that when I would go to sleep, I would sleep under the covers (idk why) but when I eventually fell asleep I would wake up (in my dream) in a see though tank that was gradually filling with water. I would be lying in my back, banging on the glass, begging for someone to open the tank. As the tank would fill all the way up with water I started to not breath (in real life), so I would claw my way out of the sheets (as I was asleep) and the dream would only stop if I got from the sheets on time. Like no joke I would be suffocating irl and I just stoped breathing until I got out of the sheets.
Sean : when you die in a dream the brain doesnt know where to go next so you wake up Actually brain : OK guys we gotta end this we dont want any spoilers here
Kono Zepharite holy shi bro i dreamed once too that i was on a family trip and a giant snake from some giant glass pipe that is for some reason on a giant building just smacked the bridge that we were on and the car went down , *for some reason my vision was a 3rd person of the car* *g a m e r s a m i r i g h t*
from the beginning of the game this just made me think of what russian villages are like. the snow sound is very much what i used to hear when making my own way to school back there before moving away, and the birch trees, log cabin, and little church-looking abandoned thing are so eery and familiar. i love it
SEVERED HANDS I once had a dream where I was in another person's house that seemed really old fashioned but for some reason it felt like home there were also people there that made me uncomfortable and i have no memory of the conversations, how many people, their looks, etc. i just remember that they made me uncomfortable but the main thing was that my hands were severed there were white and large bandages wrapped around both wrists and for some reason I instantly knew that my hands had been severed but I couldn't recall how I could still move them a little bit but they were completely numb and I was scared to my core I didn't know why i noticed it so late in the dream tho at one point I even became lucid and tried so hard to wake myself up in sheer panic but then i began to question my lucidity because the dream was just so utterly realistic that i began to feel as if many things happened and i for some reason had no memory other than the fact that my hands had been severed but someone tried to help me VERY WEIRD DREAM
The sound design in this reminds me SO MUCH of a Russian game called "The Void" which you should definitely check out. It is so surreal and horrifying and bizarre...though I will say that the ending(s) are very weak compared to the build up. But the game play is so unique and the atmosphere it builds is very tangible, especially for people familiar with weird dream shit. I'm a very active dreamer to the point that I often question reality, so...feeling that level of immersion in a game is somewhat cathartic.
5:50 Look at how fast his expression changes when it gets quiet. You can genuinely hear the fear in his voice when he says "It's so f*cking quiet." Kinda made me laugh but gave me chills at the same time
I used to have a recurring dream, only a few times, as a child. Me and a random group of people would be running down a dimly lit, tall but claustrophobic hallway, and if anyone who reads this has played a Sonic game before, it kind of looked like the Chemical zone background, just more metal. We would always be running from something, although sometimes it was a giant robot, a monster, an avalanche or something tumbling at high speeds toward us, or something else. The dream would have people slowly picked off until only four remain and we reached the end of the hallway or we ran out of breath. Just then I would see myself scream before waking up in cold sweat.
I was wondering how jack ran straight into the ghosts then I remembered that he can’t see red very well...the ghosts were red jackaboy that’s why u died the first time
A few months ago, I got lost looking for my dog in the middle of the night. It was winter and the roads were caked in ice and crunchy snow. I had only capris and a light jacket on. I thought I was going to freeze to death. I kept on screaming for help but no one heard me despite the fact that I was in the middle of a dense neighborhood. I was fine and my dog was fine but I felt strangely numb for the next few days, even after I caved and told my therapist and my sister what happened. My nightmares have gotten a lot more frequent since then.
My dreams are usually like a morphed version of reality. I'll recognise all the places, but during my dreams, there's always this sense of offness, of wrongness. My dreams are never happy, instead there's always this underlying feeling of urgency, to move, to run, to get away, but it's not always clear what I'm running away from. Sometimes there are tunnels underground, dark twisting forests and buildings with locked doors and ever changing hallways, and sometimes there are open fields and deep ocean depths where I can feel the stare of unseen eyes upon my back.
sone the he yes it’s like you know the place and people, but something always feels blurry whether it’s a face or your surroundings...it feels like something bad is trying to creep in and takeover or something.
Mine are the other way around. I'll recognize a place or a person in the dream and be completely chill and certain about it, and then when I wake up, I think, "Wait, that's not what my college's science building looked like and I've never had an Uncle Dennis."
i dont have a reoccurring dream, i have a reoccurring place. every now and then, when im under IMMENSE amounts of stress and/or am feeling very depressed, ill dream about the same place, but the story is never the same. its some kind of brick school building with three- maybe four- floors and many, many rooms. the bathrooms are massive, and the building feels never-ending even though you can see all of it easily, its just really big. its wild how ive had so many different dreams that take place in this same building. ive had at least two zombie apocalypse dreams there, some kind of shadow traveling demon creature, a leviathan for some reason, a school shooter, a fire... a lot of things. and i always remember the dreams i have here, which is why i remember the building so vividly. im not sure what it means to dream about the same place but never have the story connect, all i know is that i always have a nightmare when im dreaming of there.

This is the kinda horror I love to visualize. The setting, the colors, the subtlety of something just creeping up on you. It’s golden
The design of this game is actually really good, the darkness that is created by the dark trees, and every time you move you see gaps within trees and it creates the illusion of movement in the trees with the white snow blow your feet, until you actually see movement while you stop to read the text below which creates a sense of unease as you are unable to tell the difference between the darkness actually moving and the darkness not moving at all

the scariest dream I ever had was one time I was standing in front of a mirror in the bathroom and I saw a little thing sticking out of my face.

I think the worst thing is when you wake up feeling like something absolutely horrible has happened, knowing that you had a terrifying nightmare, your heart pounding and drenched in sweat, but you cannot for the life of you remember what your dream was about.

Still freaks me out
O woah 😳

Dude I die in every dream of mine should I be worried
Has anyone had a dream when you fall off something and then it feels like you're on your way down a rollercoaster like that rush and then wake up
Yeah all the time and it happens because you fall asleep too fast so your body thinks you're dying. In order to prevent that, the feeling you get is a rush of adrenaline that your mind sends to your body to make sure you're not dead.
I'm always about to go down a roller coaster and I wake up and then I go aw man
My friend told me that means that angels are bringing you to heaven. but when you feel your self falling, they dropped you. Also, I usually used to feel my bed turning, so my friend told me that means i was gonna go hell. I didn't believer her. ._.
Often
I've had dreams like that but NEVER from a rollercoaster. And I don't often have dreams. It's just me staring into a dark abyss then shortly waking up.
This game taps into all of my worst fears. I am not kidding, my worst fear is getting lost in a forest miles from civilization, and the feeling of being stalked makes every tree branch look like a demon, especially during the winter when there are only two colors, dark grey trees and blindingly white snow. DAMN this game...

"Your brain doesn't really know where to go after [dying in a dream], so you wake up from it. Because after that happens in the dream it's like, 'Okay, well what do we do now?' because we don't know what goes beyond that, which i find fascinating."
True, true.
Maybe when we die in this reality, we wake up from this life, and it continuous endlessly. I've had dreams before where I've experienced an entire lifetime and woke up grieving for the people I'd met and loved, so I wouldn't say it's impossible.
No one will shut up about that in the comments 😂😂

I tend to dream about alternative reality and versions of myself. So not even just lifetimes, but maybe you experience alternate realities of yourself.
Yo that's kind of like that adventure time episode where finn went to the pillow world
In my dream the other night, I was chilling at a McDonald's when the lights flickered on and off.

So I guess I’m going straight into the slow, gaping, sharp, mouth of hell itself.
ali is lost a dream can feel like five hours but in reality it’s 2 seconds
Sometimes for me, dreams can be so real that it takes a moment for me to realise it wasn’t real life and that it’s just a fake memory
@@illegalpoptart9633 b-but I thought it was the opposite way round
Yeah and it's all because the brain is processing information or something and your subconscious plays a part in them too! My dreams are usually pretty happy so I love remembering them, I also lucid dream every now and then so they are quite fun!

The human mind is truly wonderful

I am so sorry. That must be awful.

I feel like this is pretty common but the scariest dream I've ever had went like this:
I wake up in a tiny concrete coffin (i'm claustrophobic, this is terrifying for me) with no way out.
Here's a dream that I often had:
Sometimes when I was lying on my bed I subconsciously fell into a dream where I'm constantly falling into a bottomless abyss. It's not a long dream but when you wake up it's really weird because your brain thinks that there is nothing below but you are lying on your bed so your muscles contract confusedly until you realize you were dreaming.
This happens to me almost every night when I'm trying to fall asleep lol. My sister and my dad said they have that when they are falling asleep too
That’s why they call it falling asleep Ok I’ll stop
I have tried that a couple of times but with falling down the stairs instead

I haaate walking home in the dark to my house, it gets so dark and my house is in the middle of the woods, I usually run panicked home every time.

@@LunaNova-rg6oc hey, me too! :D
That's creepy as heck
When I was younger for like a week id have a recurring dream of going to like a midnight church and every night I'd sit in the same pew but what happened every night would change

hi
I have nightmares pretty much every night, for many years, and sprinkled with night terrors and one episode of sleep paralysis. They can be graphic, I can hear the wet thunk from bones breaking, the emotion in myself and the terrified sounds of those hurt/dying. Usually of my children. I wake up and go check on them in their rooms. I don't talk about them irl, they're too upsetting to share/relive.
“Do you have dreams?”
I do.
That's fucking terrifying
You were stuck in a real james bond trap
I’m sure there’s an explanation. I’m sorry you have to go through that!

SEVERED HANDS
I once had a dream where I was in another person's house that seemed really old fashioned but for some reason it felt like home
there were also people there that made me uncomfortable and i have no memory of the conversations, how many people, their looks, etc. i just remember that they made me uncomfortable
but the main thing was that
my hands were severed
there were white and large bandages wrapped around both wrists and for some reason I instantly knew that my hands had been severed but I couldn't recall how
I could still move them a little bit but they were completely numb and I was scared to my core
I didn't know why i noticed it so late in the dream tho
at one point I even became lucid and tried so hard to wake myself up in sheer panic but then i began to question my lucidity because the dream was just so utterly realistic that i began to feel as if many things happened and i for some reason had no memory other than the fact that my hands had been severed but someone tried to help me

I feel this on a spiritual level. Same same SAME here😳
J L same except I always remember my dreams as a bit blurry, and I feel like I'm somewhere I recognize, but something is always off, it's weird.
sone the he yes it’s like you know the place and people, but something always feels blurry whether it’s a face or your surroundings...it feels like something bad is trying to creep in and takeover or something.
Mine are the other way around. I'll recognize a place or a person in the dream and be completely chill and certain about it, and then when I wake up, I think, "Wait, that's not what my college's science building looked like and I've never had an Uncle Dennis."
Aaaargh, the same goes for me, but I always know what's out for me. It is literally making its presence known everytime.

i dont have a reoccurring dream, i have a reoccurring place. every now and then, when im under IMMENSE amounts of stress and/or am feeling very depressed, ill dream about the same place, but the story is never the same. its some kind of brick school building with three- maybe four- floors and many, many rooms. the bathrooms are massive, and the building feels never-ending even though you can see all of it easily, its just really big. its wild how ive had so many different dreams that take place in this same building. ive had at least two zombie apocalypse dreams there, some kind of shadow traveling demon creature, a leviathan for some reason, a school shooter, a fire... a lot of things. and i always remember the dreams i have here, which is why i remember the building so vividly. im not sure what it means to dream about the same place but never have the story connect, all i know is that i always have a nightmare when im dreaming of there.
