    Sephardim and Ashkenasim have different customs. and among sephardim there are different customs. For example, my son in law is sephardi: no yichud room. But they were together under the chuppah under his talis for a yichud. many other differences as well.

    I'm christian but I love a jewish's culture and every cultures diferent of my. I lovin' it jewish's wedding are so beautiful and happiest. I get a guess.

      There are variations but for Orthadox Jews they are always the same. For other types of Judaism there may be some changes here and there.

      Yes this is an Orthodox wedding.
      As usual those in the know can tell what type by how the guys dress. This one is easy. The lack of jackets by any of the guests or even the groom, makes it Israeli religious Zionists.

    What is the significance of the number 7 used in Jewish weddings? Does it mean completion or something else?

      7 is an important number in Judaism. 7 can mean completion, also the natural order of things, the seven years Jacob worked for Rachel, etc.

    The translations of the blessings are not very accurate:
    "הרי את מקודשת לי בטבעת זו כדת משה וישראל"
    "Behold you are sacred to me by this ring according to the religion\ law of Moses and Israel" (as in the nation of Israel, AKA the jewish people. not the state of Israel)
    "אם אשכחך ירושלים תשכח ימיני, תדבק לשוני לחיכי אם לא אזכרי, אם לא אעלה את ירושלים על ראש שמחתי"
    "If I forget you, Jerusalem, let my right (hand) forget (its power). Let my tongue cleave to my palate if I don't remember you, if I won't set Jerusalem above my greatest joy"

      flufferstuff because I made the video for my inlaws that are ashkenazi, and I wanted to mention their minhag although it didnt appear in the video, bacause it's based on a mizrahi wedding 😃

      Trust me there is... the video is very acurrate but unless you have been to an actual wedding you would never completely understand... After the Huppa the groom and bride are left alone for 30 min' to have their own private time , not infront of everyone else.
