Drew needed to win that promo battle which he did, with flying colors. Everyone knows Punk is a master on the mic but by having Drew look better than him there elevates him tremendously.
So far all the CM punk segments in the WWE have been epic hopefully CM Punk wins the royal rumble and the world heavyweight champion at wrestlemania 40 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania!
For me, the story can be how people like Drew who was treated like trash as a young WWE superstar where he got fired, rebuild himself and come back to become a huge star while Punk had everything and just walked out on everyone and then came crawling back when nothing works. It's funny how both Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre were both in 3MB and portrayed as joke midcard jobbers, they both went away and came back with impressive jacked physiques and got put into the main event spot and made a WWE Champion 😆 now they're itching at getting back into that spot again but it'll definitely be Drew who has a much better chance of achieving that
