We went to this beach club about 5 years ago (we were staying in town) and loved it - it had the best, most peaceful vibe and great food and service. And it was very comfortable which from my experience in Tulum, there's often a lot of style over function - think instagrammy/looks great in a photo but is incredibly uncomfortable. So I always really appreciate when a lot of thought is put into comfort. Also, the quiet which is becoming harder and harder to find in Tulum.
I looked into staying here but my big issue I kept coming up against was the rooms - they looked not too functional to me. So this review pretty much reinforces that. We are going to Tulum in a couple of weeks and are staying at Radhoo which I think gets us the best of both worlds! Great rooms with a great beach!
Also, we are staying at Alaya - which we've always stayed at every time we visit - I actually think it's one of the more affordable places on the beach and I adore it. It checks all the boxes for me when it comes to comfort, price, not too instagrammy, etc....
