I could watch you paint all day long. What you did with the last group of people was so, so inspiring.

Thank you for posting. I realize that I need to spend a lot more time looking at people before I even reach for the brush
You are multi-talented! You are a phenomenal artist. Your brushstrokes are a swift, graceful dance bringing life before my eyes. Your figures are alive in the beauty of your music. Your work sings and dances into our hearts. Thank you for sharing your many gifts!

Even the tiniest, microscopic detail is absolutely perfect. I so love your art Trevor. You're magnificent!
Thanks again Me Myself ! Keep the compliments coming ! :)
I find this tutorial very useful, the realization of human figures is tremendously difficult for a novice. very good!
Both beautiful, painting and soundtrack. You are very talented Trevor. Thanks so much for sharing it.
Thank You So much !
Beautifully done! Short, sweet and to the point. And the music was a delight - lovely, uplifting and the perfect background for your easy, flowing style without being intrusive or overpowering to the tutorial.
You are magically unique in the way you can draw these figures with so few details like the gondola scene!
Thanks !
I'm a raw beginner at watercolours, Trevor, and I love the loose style of this medium especially for landscapes. Your figure paintings are superb! Subscribed. Thank you!
"Criant de vérité"...encore un super dessin! salut Trévor!

Thank You melkerart !!! :)
ok.... but like for the rest of us who aren't blessed with PURE MAGIC in their hands... how do we do it??
The book..people in watercolour has helped sooo much!...full of great information😊
Good to hear that Karen :)
I cannot begin to imagine how I would ever be able to do that!
It's as if what you see in your mind is flowing out of the end of the brush.
I think I'll just go back to trying to colour-in between the lines!
Thank You! Your music is always a wonderful bonus. So relaxing and inspirational.
Awesome. Its amazing how my eye fills in the forms. Great work.
+7Spankster7 Thanks !!!
Inspiring demonstration ... I wish you would teach HOW to do this, especially movement. Marvelous how you create life and movement in such simple, suggested figures.
Thank You Madame DeFarge for your feedback :) !
Like so many other things in life; the way to do this is to practice doing it, then keep on practicing until you can do it without practicing. The great thing about painting is that when you are practicing all these different techniques to improve your painting style you only need to use the paints that you already have, any sort of paper will do for practicing with, it doesn't even need to have a straight edge so scraps are fine, and then you can burn the paper, or throw it away, afterwards. The biggest handicap a lot of artists have is being able to justify to themselves why they aren't practicing. I throw away a lot of paintings, but it is better than never painting any. Every now and then I do something that I really like enough to keep.
Thank you Trevor, this is a wonderful lesson and the music is great!
Minden művét imádom.Egyszerüen,könnyeden alkot nagy dolgokat.A zene és a szöveg hozzá csodás.Mindig tanulok Öntöl valami jó dolgot. Köszönöm.!!!!!!

Painting technique n music both awesome!! Liked it too much!!!
It looks soooo simple, a tickle here a flick there but capturing the essence, the suggestion is achieved by talent, emulating what you do and achieve is always going to miss that special ingredient, well by me in any case. Thanks for the envy!
2 minute podcasts Thanks for those comments ! I agree it looks simple ...but lots of concentration and practice required ! making the best of an emergency is watercolour !!! :)

subtle and very clever trevor I have tried to copy this but the figures end up looking like meat pies on roller skates
love your painting and music!!
Love to watch your lessons!
Barna Mirabella Keep watching Please !
Thanks Waugh, u r very good teacher
Trevor, just watched this again, and I am still struck by the free hand drawing with the brush. You must be visualizing the shape, the proportions, the leg and arm positions as you draw to get them to read so well. I've been practicing on and off over the past months, prompted by your videos, drawing people and animals, so I guess the answer is...do it more! But now that I have one of those magic silver handled brushes, I have what I need!
Mike Porter Hey Mike Thanks ....been without Wi Fi here for weeks...hence the delayed reply. More vids on the way with figures etc. Love T

It's only been 5 months and i was told pretty good at it but when I watched your water color it's such inspiring and wanted to do it. I think I can do both. I like your style and I love to learn your techniques. What would be your suggestion for tutorial? I could also get your video for certain brush strokes. I would love to get start it.

I know, I know... every bird has its own particular tune, so I can hear you say... I just went through a couple of sites where some painters (euh... people) show their little figures... ( btw, they all do their very best to follow your example)...OMG, was I disappointed. There is only one real magician....So, the oscar goes to (drum-beat, drum-beat)...mister Trevor Waugh! And the vote was unanimous.
Myriam....what do I say to that...except.....I really appreciate your messages... they are ....AWESOME , WAUGHSOME ! :) Lets have some MORESOME !
