They came out perfect and I had an issue with my windows being UV “repelling “ ( couldn’t see the image ). He moved the images to a portion of the house without question and the show Was perfect ! Thank you Matt you made my 4 yr old grandsons season. Christmas Day we were on the front yard dancing to the show , in Buffalo Ny

I'm thinking you need 2 projectors min to pull this off and they would be projectors you don't care about as they can't move.....awesome display but is it realistic to have every night
Some very nice effects. We're setting up to try projection this year. I'm going to have to set the projector off to the side at an angle to get the full width in. Would it be wise to use the different cameras in After Effects to make getting rid of the distortions easier? I'm thinking creating the masks with a camera view from about the angle of the projector, then creating and applying effects with a straight on view one would see from the street.
I've never done it that way, but it sounds possible. Keep in mind that you will always get the brightest and sharpest image when you go at it from straight on. When you go at a surface from an angle you are reducing the amount of light and the number of pixels dedicated to cover that surface by your projector. Extreme angles should be avoided, especially on the most prominent areas of your house.
As you might imagine, the equipment is the most expensive part. But you can do it on the cheap with a used projector and some willingness to put things together yourself. for those outlines, at least the way i would do it, would be simply making a mask to only show the borders and then pass a red/white checkerboard pattern through it.

I’m worried about my house getting washed out by it. In order to combat this, I had planned on using a 6k lumen projector. Do you have any other tips or tricks? Finally, how did you build your projector housing? Did you make it like the digital pressworks site makes them?

You'd need one crazy bright projector to match the light output of tons of LED pixels. Pixels are BRIGHT especially if you run them at 70% or higher! My neighbor across the street has about a zillion white lights on his house, and with pixels I can still make his house any color I want to and overwhelm the whiteness of all his lights. No way I could do that with one projector.

I will buy some of the content packages you're selling as well, I was just curious if there was a way to project my own content onto the map.
For sure. Once you have the map you can use any video editor to make your own videos. You just use the map as a reference for where things go to fit them to your house.
I have a programmable RGB lighting set up and that is custom programmed to music. Do you know if it’s possible to coordinate projector mapping with the other lighting softwares like Xlights or Light-O-Rama?
Can you show these lights on another style house, your website show the same house for every lightning, this does not help when my house is was different in shape. I wanna spend alot of money on your site but nervous too now

I'm not an expert, but I think it is possible. You would use a video file instead of an audio file for the programming.

We rented a nice SLR camera to film this and it does well in low light. This is pretty representative of what it looks like in person, though.
