I have since started using TireJect as my only tire sealant. It is far superior and I did a video on it here
It’s people like you that make UA-cam great. Providing/sharing valuable info is a kind gesture that helps others. Thanks again for sharing.
It's been about 4 or 5 years now since I used Slime on my wheelbarrow and it's still holding well. This is the first year that I have to add a bit of air to both tires. That's pretty freakin' good compared to losing the air every 4 or 5 days. Thanks again.
My wheelbarrow is from I think the 50's. It is beat up but it has an all steel spoked wheel. When I recently saw how much they charge for wheelbarrows I was like damn I better start taking care of mine.
This does actually work this guy is right put it in my riding mower tires and never had a flat sense
I learned this from one of your previous videos. I've used the slim on my wheel barrel tire, snow blower tire and the tires on our two wheel hand carts at work.
Wow! I've actually found a video on wheel barrow tires that addresses my issue with a worthy solution to attempt. Thanks for putting this up!
To set a bead I like using the ratchet straps method...wrap it around the circumference of the tire..keeping it centered, then tighten and add air. Works well 👍. Great video . Thx
👍 I was thinking I needed a new tire. I was putting a can of flat tire in every time I needed to use my wheel barrow. Thanks!
First time I used slime,I couldn't believe how good it worked. I had never noticed the tubeless bead missing. Now I know!!!
I just had both my wheelbarrow tires flat this Spring. I went to buy new tubes at my local big box store and they wanted $15 for a tube! A new cheapo tire with tube was $20. I hated spending that, but, needed to get them fixed that day. One was pretty dry rotted anyway.
Never thought of adding windshield washer fluid. Great Idea. Had trouble adding enough slime to get mower tires to seal. Cant was it to try the washer fluid.
Yep I use green slime, works great, just remember that this slime flows like liquid so there's a certain amount that you put into the tires and on the bottle has a mount to put in, easy to use and works great
Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us, lots of useful information.
Here is my method. I got this tip from another UA-cam video. Simply drill two holes, about an eighth of an inch or slightly larger, at noon and 6 p.m. on one side of the tire. On the other side of the tire, drill two holes at 3 and 6. Now you have four holes in the tire, that are spaced 90° each. Now you take a can of expanding foam, also known as great stuff, and you use the long skinny tube, and squirt great stuff into each of the four holes. Don't overdo it, because the stuff is incredibly expanding, and you can actually put too much in it. When you've got the right amount, the tire will be almost as hard as a rock, and it will never go flat.
Great video 65ford!! I never knew that there were such things as tubeless rims and tube rims. Learn something new from your channel every video.
I used Dow brand high vacuum grease once 25 years ago on a tire bead and it never failed. I know I used a slime type product too but I can’t remember which one.
Thanks for the tip Bro. I did have to tube my lawnmower front tire but the slime would be a hell of a lot easier since I don't have a tire machine of any kind. Great video! I learned something.
Yup, those darn wheelbarrow tires are always flat when you need to use it. Great tips! Lots of people use the slime in their atv tires as well.
Great tips Moe, I have had a world of trouble with little tubeless boat trailer tires, this would have helped.
