Thank you, Jonathan for the frontline update👍👍👍
Why am I suspicious when Suryiak said they have no time for updates so often in Ukraine? Makes me think something is upcoming they don't want to report.
As always brilliant video thank you. Try to get some rest you work to hard at times 🎉🎉

Hi Jonathan, thanks for the update! Нехай ваш чай має дивовижний смак (may your tea taste amazing - google translate).
Fighting has already been going on more south in Vovchansk at 50°17'25.4"N 36°55'44.0"E
Video is called: Russian soldier falls from 2nd story canopy of Vovchansk Central Hospital.
The war is so finely balanced it keeps us on the edge of our seats
happy birthday to your husband! may he be prosperous!

Get off the rollercoaster, attrition is a marathon rather than a sprint.
It's almost like a football match isn't it? I don't mean to cheapen the lives lost and irreparably harmed by this conflict Putin started, but like you were saying, the ball (the initiative) shifts one way and then the other as each team move down the pitch. (I'm using European English terminology so as to not stress your brain too much. For the American audience, I'm talking about soccer.) There's nothing like a war to underscore the analogy of competitive sports and nationalism.
Generic comment for the yt algorithm. Slava Ukraini!
Ukraine should have already trained everyone from age 16 through 60. Just because they’ve been trained doesn’t mean they need to be sent to the front lines to fight. They could also be sent back into the civilian workforce where they already are now and continue to receive training for 2 weeks out of every 4 months to keep them fresh and ready if they’re needed.
This idea of waiting until things are desperate to start training is ridiculous. Whoever is in charge is obviously incompetent.
You are right. Ukraine should use it's infinite resources to train every able-bodied man. It's so easy to do after all and Ukraine have plenty of spare men to conduct the training. Obviously the Ukrainian military and leadership are too close to the situation and can't see things as clearly as we can with our minds uncluttered by so-called "reality" with it's limitations.
I'm becoming unsettled. Is Jonathan real or is he just an AI hologram wearing a washywinker, or whatever they are called? My fears are based upon the fact that Jonathan is rapidly approaching 24/7 coverage of this war. 3 updates daily, extra news flashes, live chats, interviews, not to mention family life, gigs, visits to the pub and other essential duties. Thank goodness he allowed himself that small holiday in Ukraine ,or he would be on his chinstraps. Anyway I just thought I'd mention it in case we see him plugged into a powerbank if, God forbid, he runs out of tea.😇

Sometimes it looks like the damage to the Russians is no more than a mosquito bite on an elephant.
If you consider 1500 casualties per day a mosquito bite, sure.
Each pice is worthless...
-A worthless Elephant!
The Russians have been living off a massive reserve of Soviet weapons, but that reserve will eventually run out. They will look as if they are keeping up with losses until they suddenly don't.
@@terjeoseberg990 in your dreams .
There needs to be investigations in The US & other Western countries about what is going on in Kharkiv (at least).
The fact that the Ukrainian government allowed citizens to remain in the oblast once it was recaptured is awful! Not only were these civilians left in harms way, knowing that Kharkiv was eventually going to be completely destroyed by the Russians, but precious resources were expended protecting / supplying them that should have been used for military purposes. All the civilians in the oblast should have been moved east of the Dnipro immediately! It would have been a good opportunity to screen every citizen for Russian connections as well.
Unfortunately, it’s pretty clear why this was done. Dead / wounded civilians plays better on American nightly “news” than “Ukrainian officials are moving civilians out of harms way”….
It goes back to a real lack of urgency / actions not matching the rhetoric coming out of Europe.
If something is “existential”, as claimed by so many regarding Russia’s actions, then the actions taken better reflect that. Everyone, including here in America, is being way too lax if the “existential” narrative is the one they are trying to sell. Seizing all Russian assets and moving economies onto full war footings w/ conscription should be the absolute bare minimum for every European country that claims Russia is a threat currently. The fact that it isn’t happening anywhere shows that none of the narratives coming out of Europe regarding Ukraine / Russia are sincere right now.
Heroyam slava.
I think you have misunderstood the situation with the government and areas that are vulnerable. They cannot force evacuate in the way I think you imply. I have spoken to many people who have been involved in evacuating civilians from active zones. It is not easy at all and people often want to stay on in incredibly dangerous places far beyond rational justification.
