Hey Glynn. I saw this print yesterday on the Permajet stand printed on Baryta Rag paper.. Never realised the image was taken on an iPhone. The print looked amazing .. All the best. Mark
Wow, those RAW files are chock full of information. Thanks for the detailed workflow. You're inspiring me to get out with my 14Pro. I've invested i n the Peak Design mobile kit which should work well.
Sorry I'm late. I got here as soon as I could! I just retired and am going to use my first year using my iPhone for all my photography needs. I've put my Sony down. More of these types of videos please.....
Brilliant Glynn. I had visions of you wading out in the mud under the Severn Bridge to get the shot but thankfully there was a nice concrete pad to stand on lol. Superb picture that's gallery worthy :)
I really do like your teaching skills; your workflow is really good. Got iPhone 14 Pro max the other day but as yet not had the opportunity to use it. I've saved this vid to favourites and I'll try out this workflow on next walk.... thank you
Hi Glyn I really enjoyed watching your video. I have been using my iPhone 10 for quite a bit of time to shoot the video and photographs. I just recently upgraded to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. I’d like to do automotive photography and create composite photos. I used to use my canon 80 D for all of my photographs, but I am now using my iPhone for just about everything. As you mentioned in your video, what I really like is that the iPhone is always with me. And it really takes great photographs. Thank you for your great videos. Pat and Hogarty from El Dorado hills California.
Very exciting times ahead with all this stuff Pat and great to hear how much you're now using your phone. What excites me more than anytihng is that, today is the worst it will be ... and today it is already superb! Imagine the next versions of SmartPhones (iPhone and Android) and then all of the enhancements with the Editing Software we use ... so damn exciting!
A great lesson and very timely since I've just upgraded to an IPhone 14 Pro. I'll now have to add the Even Longer app and then try creating an image with fully mobile technologies. Thanks Glyn.
Absolutely brilliant Glyn! You’re right. Mobile photography is incredible now. The quality of images coming from phones blows me away! Fantastic video as always mate 👍
I have jumped very recently on the mobile photography as well since watching your videos on this topic, and I must say, I am having a lot of fun. Thank You so much for being such a great inspiration. BTW, the round trip with Photoshop to preserve the edits before applying a B&W preset ….BRILLIANT :-)
Glyn, yet another masterpiece of inspiration! Congrats to this motivation to get out and shoot pictures. It is amazing how "free" I feel all of a sudden with my iPhone 14 Pro Max without carrying all the heavy equipment and hence a camera that's always with you. BTW, I just ordered the "Pocket Tripod Pro by Geometrical" which is not for regular Tripod mount, but instead it has the size of a credit card and fits into your wallet 😉 Always enjoy your contributions. Many thanks for that.
Another fantastic video Glyn. I’ve been using my iPhone 11 with Lightroom mobile for a little while and the results are great. Just upgraded to 14 pro for the 48 mega pixel camera facility and can’t edit to get out the and see how it performs. Keep the videos coming, been a fan of your work for a while Andy
Just found your channel and enjoying its content. I often use only my iPhone for photography and just started a new project. The content of this video will really help me. Thank you!
No worries mate ... the workflow with lightroom mobile will be very similar anyway depsite the platforms. As for the paper I can't say until 1st February I'm afraid ... givem e a shout then 👍🏻
I was pleased to see I guessed the book that you chose the location from. I got a couple of that series from Fotovue recently and found them great for identifying locations to shoot. I'm a long time Lightroom user (from when it was Rawshooter by Pixmantec, before Adobe bought the company!) but never used the mobile apps. You have encouraged me to try them.
That picture was absolutely stunning. Converting it to black and white made all the difference. There is one part of the mobile workflow that I'm not absolutely sure about. Will your image forever live in adobes cloud? Are you worried about running out of space in their cloud? I think the Photography Bundle only gives you 20gb of space. Is there an easy way on desktop to pull them from adobes cloud and store them on your hard drive?
Thanks so much for that Brian 😃 As for the file remaining in the cloud, I'm good with that as I have it is a 'Portfolio' folder that syncs across all of my devices and my portfolio of images (my favourites) would never get that big. The other files I would likely just delete. As for moving it, yes indeed ... if you right-click on the image in the desktop version (the synced folder) and choose Show in Finder, you'll see the file located in the mobiledownloads.lrdata ; you could copy this and move it onto your hard drive if you wanted to.
So glad I stumbled on this! This is really game changing. Incredible image. BTW, were you using Adobe cloud or Apple cloud? I assume you were using Lightroom CC, not Classic on your MAC. Thanks so much for posting.
Hi Brian ... Thanks so much for looking in, and thank you for the kind words. To answer your questions, I was using Adobe Cloud Storage and actually Lightroom Classic on my Mac so that I could go through the print process. Hope that helps Glyn
Compliments on your very helpful presentations Glyn! I have been a pro for 28 years but you make me feel like I want to be a photographer when I grow up 🥴 May I ask 2 questions? • Do you use a case with screen protector on your iPhone when using it as illustrated……the question relating to the issue of any potential distortion due to the lens covering? • Are your tablet and non- Wacom tablet compatible with one another? Thanks much from BC, Canada.
Thank you so much Glyn for another very helpful and informative tutorial! I remember in one of your tutorials, you were teaching how to increase sharpness I think and the image you where working was the one in this tutorial! Would you mind please help me with the link to that tutorial (I can't find it where did I watch it)? Highly appreciated! Good luck!
Hello Glyn. Great video. Can you please tell which side of the bridge you took the shot from please. Many thanks. Keep up the videos. I'm learning a ton of good stuff.
Fantastic workflow 👍 I often pull an image off my camera via WiFi and then follow a similar workflow, this has encouraged me To ”make more” of my phone pictures. I’ll give it a try 👍 A couple of questions if I may: Could you “create virtual copy” in LR mobile? Rather than have to go via photoshop? Then add the B&W preset? And, can you print directly from your phone over WiFi, would be interesting to compare the quality of the 2 A4 prints. Many thanks for another great video
Thanks for watching. As for the Virtual Copy, that too includes all of the edits so doesn’t work unfortunately. Yeah re testing the printing from the phone ‘ iPad, there’s no ability to choose paper profiles etc so wouldn’t work all that well.
Glyn, how do you like your Mac Studio? I’m wanting a new machine but not sure if I should go with a new MacBook Pro, Mac Studio, or a new M2 Mac Mini. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Scott, I love it. Does exactly what I want and does it really well. Would have upgraded internals but I got this as an ‘off the shelf’ spec and it’s superb. No noise either … despite some claims.
Excellent Glyn, thank you . A question please . To sync photographs from your iPhone Lightroom Mobile app to Lightroom Classic has that required you to increase your Adobe Cloud storage to more than the standard 20gb ? Thanks
Hi There. Adding the photographs in to the phone does temporarily use more Adobe Storage but you wouldn’t need to add all of them in to be honest … just those you know you are going to edit. I do have 2 TB though.
Wondering if you have noticed any difference in image file quality shooting with AppleProRaw with the native iPhone camera and then importing into LR vs. using the LR app to take RAW images.
Brill, excellent tutorial. I use Darkroom+ and whilst is very good it is also buggy like I get lots of freezing but the subscription is very cheap compared to LR. Also use Snapseed which is free but both don’t compare to LR. Can LR be used on its own without a subscription? Thanks for sharing.
I am finding I get better / more accurate colours in some images when using the Canon Software … but that was from a while back when there had been an update. I mus go back and check now if it’s still the case.
If only Adobe cloud storage wouldn't be such a rip-off compared to other services. 1TB @ Adobe = €12/month, 1TB + Office365 @ Microsoft = €6/month and you can store anything, not just photos (or €9/month for family licence with 6x 1TB and 6x Office licenses).
Just confirming, you can move photos between Lightroom Mobile as well as Lightroom Classic on the computer.... As a 12mp photo that started you started with, plus the cropping, how much can you enlarge for a print? thank you
Hi There ... Yes indeed, you can move photographs between them ... it's not a 'one-way- thing. As fo the print without enlarging I would happily print this at A2 .. possibly even A1
Sadly as I can only afford an iPhone X with 12 meg, i can’t compete with a 48 meg iPhone 14. Still I will use my phone when my sprained ankle let’s me get mobile (no pun intended)
Hey Glynn. I saw this print yesterday on the Permajet stand printed on Baryta Rag paper.. Never realised the image was taken on an iPhone. The print looked amazing .. All the best. Mark
Hey Mark … thanks so much for that. Hope you’re keeping well out there 👍🏻

This is incredible Glyn, very inspirational...
Thank you Fraser
Extraordinary work flow! Thank you! Please create more examples and share.
Thank you Mikhail and yes indeed ... I'll be doing more of this for sure.
Thanks Glyn. More on this please 😊
Will be done 😉
Great video, looks like the mobile phone is the future of photography!
Cheers and yeah ... I reckon so 😉
Thanks, love the end to end format!
Glad you like it and yeah me too ... the workflow is so convenient
Very interesting. Among others I took this very photo, or almost, about three months ago. Now I've got to go back to the RAW file again!
It's a great location huh 😃 Will definitely beheading back at some point to see how it looks in different conditions.
what a nice image. thank you for sharing your workflow
Thank you Marc
Thank you so much for sharing your workflow. Looking forward to takeing more photos.

Will have to check out the Peak Design stuff you mention 👍🏻
Great video as always Glyn, hope you’re loving life, cheers Kev
Thanks Kevin.
Yeah all good here mate, thanks. Hope the same with you 👍🏻
Sorry I'm late. I got here as soon as I could! I just retired and am going to use my first year using my iPhone for all my photography needs. I've put my Sony down. More of these types of videos please.....
Thanks, Glyn. As others have commented, the trip to photoshop before applying a present is an interesting technique! Well done!
Cheers Nick
Brilliant Glynn. I had visions of you wading out in the mud under the Severn Bridge to get the shot but thankfully there was a nice concrete pad to stand on lol. Superb picture that's gallery worthy :)
Damn you Dewis, you're dragging me kicking and screaming towards mobile photography and I'm not making enough fuss !
🤣🤣🤣
Excellent Glyn, thank you. Not only informative, your obvious enthusiasm is infectious. Have a great weekend.
Thanks a lot for that … you too 👍
Great shot and processing technique. The smartphone cameras has come a long way. No wonder they are eating the lunch of the DSLR cameras!
Yeah agreed … very interesting times ahead

Excellent video Glyn - I really like how you showed the whole workflow from shooting to printing. And I must say that print looks awesome! :)

Absolutely amazing mate! Love that.Such a convenient, efficient and compact workflow, superb! fantastic video buddy, thanks for sharing 😎😎😎
Thank you so much mate.
So glad you were part of it!
I don't have any Apple products, I will stick with my pc and Sony and Olympus cameras but i did really enjoy watching your workflow. Rgds Gary
PS What paper did you use Glyn, I notice it was a Baryta paper, is it very textured?
No worries mate ... the workflow with lightroom mobile will be very similar anyway depsite the platforms.
As for the paper I can't say until 1st February I'm afraid ... givem e a shout then 👍🏻
Great video. I’m use the XR so I don’t think I could print that good but none less fabulous workflow and final image!!
