I've been using this system for about 6 months and I have to say "I wished I would it use it before" we are starting to train everyone in our company to use this system with VT knot

Ok, ok, I guess it's time I evolve. Great explanation/illustration Nick. I'll probably watch it a few more times as I configure.

I would say it's the best switch I ever made on ddrt. I use a tight eye on arbormaster with 8mm armor-prus tied in a (slightly) modified VT. LOVE IT. Strongly recommend the dmm O biners he's using in the vid. Well worth the spend.

Hey Nick ! I bought a rapide one today in Europe and love it ! it really cleans up the climbing system especially when used with a climbing line with a spliced eye ! Thanks

Question. Are you demonstrating it there the way you would use it with you facing pulley? Seems others vids show climber facing 3 hole side, my issue with that way is that your high line is crossing itself and this tends to interfere with the friction knot when you get close to the high point or in general. What is the correct method?

I would appreciate if you can list these equipment for me to order and also I need help how to use them. I will use it as safety measure while climbing and working on a 7 meter tall palm tree.

Do you guys have training courses? I'd like to be trained to use climbing equipment. Thanks a lot.

We don't usually host introductory training courses. You might check out a training company called Tree Climber's International: www.treeclimbing.com

@@jarridcarter5001 For natural crotch climbing, you'll probably want something more durable, like 16 strand. Consider Samson BRW, Teufelberger Hi-Vee, or Notch Sasquatch.

I thought that to begin with but a few extra bits in your system can make life a lot easier. That and it's fun to experiment with different setups.
That said, I have had trouble with the biner catching the top of the VT. Which is a bit of a pain in the arse.
