You put a lot of effort into showing these tricks and techniques. I appreciate it. I’m a new arborist in the u.s. and I will reference this video many times in the year to come. Thanks again
Illegal! your supposed to have two mainlines to access and move around in a tree. NEVER seen anyone do it and have don't see the point in extra time in the tree, effort and mental exhaustion of two lines which makes mistakes MUCH more often but still apparently illegal I hate the uk regulations it makes working so hard and the reason why I left another profession and may leave this one for something where I have some actual freedom to perform what I am trained in But great video very informative

Wow, thank you so much! Comprehensive, but to the point.
That's a great intro guide. I picked up a few tips I plan to try out next climb. Thank you very much for taking the time to make it!
Thanks for watching and I’m glad there was something useful for you. Have fun at your next climb 😁

Glad you enjoyed the vid 👍🏻
As an experienced climber I have to say that you did not tie a Blake's hitch on the first set up. That would be called a taut line hitch.😮
That is not a taut line, you don't go through your friction loops with a taut line.
