I'm a guitarist. Watching a great guitarist makes me feel something emotional. Watching a good drummer gives me chills and makes me feel primitive. The way a beat and a rhythm can make a person come alive is incredible. This man's got it.

Starting around the 30-second mark he plays the bass pedal with his left foot, as his right foot is in a cast or something. That is INSANE!!!

What? I think he is the most overrated of all time. For fuck sake there are at least 200 drummers I can list who are better. I make it even easier to understand, everyone who can keep an odd tempo is better.
Two years of solid drum lessons and you can play like this.
Ringo is better, he was actually good for the band and the songs, not just a show off solo drummer.

I assume a few people in here will know a bit about drum kits, I’m doing my grade 6 exam soon and I need a kit to practise but don’t want it to be loud or too expensive because that’s why I don’t have one at one yet. Do any of you know what the first wee kit was that only had like pads.
Hey mate good question. My answer would be buy an acoustic practice kit. They are kits that look exactly like real acoustic kits but they are made out of specific materials so they barely make a sound when u hit them. Don't buy an electric to practice, they will ruin your technique.
I know this is a bit late but look into the DW Go anywhere practice kit. I believe that’s what Travis is using is some of these videos. It’s super compact inexpensive and quiet
