Right on, but as much as i Love this song, i still feel the “crescendo” steals away everything the song pulled me into, i just feel it was overly unnecessary, kinda like when Ludacris & Lil Jon appear on Ushers’ “Lovers & Friends”. I was blown away to hear the best piano notes Usher had ever sung over, and thennnnn...........GARBAGE; i looped Ushers’ part perfectly on Sonic Foundary & never listened to thee OG version ever again. 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️😁

Yup. I saw the movie Blow in the theater. I heard this song at the end and was like "WHO IS THIS?!" That's when I became a fan. "Like A Feather" is a great one for getting your ass moving. 💃🏻. Years ago she toured and opened for Lenny Kravitz. The night I saw them Lenny had Nikka come out and join him on American Woman and a few other songs. Blew the roof off the place!❤

It's no wonder Prince wanted to cover this song and also sing with Nikka Live. But this Lady could sing the notes clean off of a page when she cuts loose! VERY underrated Female singer hands down for the ones that know anything about music and the levels of a singer! It's a shame in the radio world you want hear such singers! Nikka is just straight a treasure that doesn't get her due period!!!

Very underrated artist..I was blown away by her album "Like A Feather", I expected her to be so much more successful 🥺 I remember wearing self made Nikka Costa shirts, because I could not find any in Europe 😂..people gave me funny looks..wow, time flies.
But definitely have to check it out. Johnny Depp in the movie Blow brought me to this song and this artist. Definitely going to look up like a feather. Thanks for the recommendation

I don't do coke anymore but it makes me want a bump kinda.... and im in Florida close to Miami lol..too risky these days.. might get fentanyl instead.. God what awful times we are living in.. politics sucks, drugs are deadly and Ukraine/Russia problem is out of control.. music is my solace

Same here. Just finished watching the movie for third or fourth time, especially with the focus on Johnny Depp. Don't care what they say it was a good movie. And caught this song at the very end and had to find out what it was. Beautiful

If she can’t shake you, your probably already dead inside. That, or deaf…lol.
