My Love From Another Taehyung if you read what I said properly I'm talking about hate comments and people telling her 'stop that whispering shit I hate it' for example, if you're going to share constructive criticism then sure go ahead but if you're going to hate then why waste your time. Sharing your opinion and being an asshole about it are two different things.
T every youtuber gets hate but that doesn't mean keemi shoukd but I mean u can't really stop haters from commenting. They're always gonna have something to say but I was just saying what i thought..

The only issue was your bowls weren't big enough to fully submerge the onion into the egg wash and into the flour mix. That's why it wasn't coated properly.
thebeachandme true. she just stuffed doritos in the gaps of the onions. thats not gonna do anything. she had to submerge it in flour and then egg. then she could add the doritos.

There were quite a few mistakes she made. She should have submerged it into the batter first. Batter than mixings. Than batter again and mixings again. Also, she uses the wrong type of oil. She needs to use more refined oils with higher smoking points: peanut oil, sunflower oil, etc. Why people use olive/vegetable oil to fry everything makes me confused. There are MANY different types of cooking oils for a reason..She also could have tried air frying it. It would have come out crisper that way.

Saw a lot of negativity in the comments section but just wanted to drop by and cheer you on. Thanks for always trying to improve your content n showing your honesty to the audience. Personally I feel like your asmr content has improved a lot a lot since you've started them. Even though this recipe was a fail to you, it still was enjoyable to watch. As a personal preference I wanted to ask if you could do a short segment of soft/slow chewing in your asmr videos next time!

Omg, you're making it so hard to choose which recipe I liked best girl. You say this was a fail but I think it looks fantastic. I miss the Awesome Blossom. All of the Chili's in my city stopped selling them. I asked one time why and the server said because the owners said it wasn't popular anymore. She said it made no sense because that was one of their biggest sellers. We have the Bloomin' Onion from Outback still but I find that one too salty sometimes. If I HAD to choose, I'd have to say the tacos were my favorite recipe. So simple and so delicious. Thanks Keemi!!!!
I commented before I got to the part of your video where you drove to get the Bloomin' Onion. You mentioned you should've gotten steak too. Have you seen Outback's new appetizer where it's the Bloomin' Onion on the bottom, then on top is the cheese fries and on top of that is steak? It looks so good.

I work at Outback and I just want to let you guys know she is eating around 4000 calories. Our Cheese fries have 2000 and so does our Blooming Onion. And the way we make our onions bloom is we let them sit in cold water over night after we cut them. Then we hand bread them and deep fry them. Then serve it with the sauce which is like mayonnaise and horseradish and some secret spices.

Keemi I believe the blooming onion was made with a liquid batter. It was dried first with flower and then submerged in liquid batter. Your onion still looks and sounds delicious and seems much lighter without all the heavy batter!!

The Doritos blooming onion was actually really creative and I didn't think you would combine that and Doritos. Even though it turn out the way you wanted it still taste good and that's all that matters. My favorite video from the Doritos series was the tacos. My little

keemi this video is my favorite dorrito series because of how real you kept it.No matter how great a chef one is there are times when things just don't work out. You didn't pretend and you went a step further to make up for it !Keep being amazing.

My favorite video was the awesome blossom because it looks super good and I like all the effort u put into it ❤️
I think rather than doing a dry-wet-dry, you should have made a medium thickness batter batter with the flour, egg, and butter milk and covered the onion in it. and then pack the Doritos on it sides and fill it in on the top layer by layer. maybe more time consuming but I think you might get better results ^^
either way, I've never seen this done before so I think this has to be my favorite recipe because it's new to me ^^
though you weren't happy with it... it was still a great video ^^
okay, I lied. I found a better way after some research.
1) flour- season it with some spices but do not add the Doritos at this stage. save them for later.
egg& butter milk was a good choice.
you can soak the onion in ice water for a bit to help open the onion up.
1) cover the onion in flour, get into the crevices. then, turn it upside down and tapped out the excess.
2) do the egg dip~
3) mix the Doritos with some breadcrumbs. dip the egged onion into this and cover well. turn upside down and shake out the excess.
next, fry at a high heat (flash fry). put the cut side down. after 30 sec flip and then take out when cooked.

Try a wet dorito batter next time . Mix the wet with the dry ingredients then deep fry.

My favorite Doritos episode was the taco episode. You did really great with all the recipes. The blooming onion looked fine. You're too hard on yourself lol. Thanks for the great content.
Suggestion for awesome Blosson next time . Dont sprinkle the onion with Doritos first . make a slurry of flour water and Doritos crumbs hold to the side . Then dip in egg then flour . lastly dip into the slurry . you can then sprinkle the Doritos on Top or wait until it comes out of the grease .

Not going to lie Keemi, but if you really didn't like this, you shouldn't have posted it. The fact that you keep going on and on about disliking the dish/how you made it, is kinda annoying. I would prefer for you to wait a day to post than post this.

I'm kinda annoyed of how u complained throughout the entire video it's more like a mukbang now and not an asmr. I mean it's nice that you drove all the way there to buy it after u did ur fail asmr but why didn't u wait a day and see what u did wrong the first time u made the blooming onion and make it again. Keemi! I must say my favorite video was your second one with the tacos! I made it for my kids tonight and they loved it! Tacos are always a hit in my house but they loved the extra cheese/dorito layer!!
I would have coated in a seasoned flour mixed then egg it all over, and then coated with the dorito crumbs last, and when you cook the onion it needs to be flipped upside down first so you can cook the sliced onion bits first cook it upside down for 2 to 3 minutes then flip it over and repeat if necessary
I LOVED THIS ONE BUT AM GOING TO HAVE TO GO WITH THE TACOS ON THIS ROUND!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK..I LOVE THIS SERIES

+Lily T It's really great how nicely you've voiced your opinion. FYI ASMR is just an experience...different things give different people that feeling and many people enjoy the soft talking, too. I know many have thought recently that ASMR means eating sounds only, but it's not.

Is it just me, but hearing food sounds can be comforting. Keemi, I have not seen much ASMR videos, but I really enjoy yours. Don't listen to some of these clowns.
