after watching your videos i bought everything to make these and i made little keychains, now i'm just waiting for them to dry.. i am so excited to see how they turn out!! thank you for being so patient and being an awesome teacher!!! keep up the good work!!!
Hey, love the bits you're making. They look great. Two things that bothers me though: 1. You're sanding resin in what seems to be a corner of your house that isn't closed off from the rest of your house. 2. You're dry sanding, meaning the dust is going everywhere. Like, everywhere. Even if you can't see it. In the video you start sanding, put your filter mask on, dust goes everywhere - you take your mask off - immediately inhale a bunch of really bad resin dust. Which is what you were trying to avoid. By wearing a mask. Not to mention, that dust is now happily travelling the inside of your house and making its way god knows where. Whoever's living with you is also being exposed to this dust. Most epoxies are hard within a few hours / days. However, they can take up to 2 weeks to fully cure their molecular bonds. If you sand before then, the dust that's created is effectively still bonding. When inhaled, it'll bond to your lungs which can cause serious permanent health issues. Easy solutions: 1. Move into a room to work in that can close and has a window. 2. Wet sand. You may still be able to use your sander but it depends on the model. Water and electricity don't mix. Use your hands if you're not sure. 3. Quick 5 minute wet sanding overview: ua-cam.com/video/I-T-xWZlJEY/v-deo.html 4. After done sanding, wipe down all surfaces that contain the bit of "sludge" that wet sanding creates so it doesn't dry, become dust, and go in the air again. Dispose into a tie-off bag or regular bin. Hope you keep making your awesome art. I love your use of flowers :D
I swear there always someone that is going to tell you what you should do or don’t do! I thought was a “free” country and you are in your house or work area. The topic was NOT your house and/or work area. Was it concern? Do not know but it went into a lot of information I am quite sure you know or do not believe and that is your right. Thank you so much for the video it did help me a lot once you got to the meat of the video. I have attention issues so I watched this a lot! LOL. Have a great day, enjoy who you are and what you do because both is simply outstanding.
Beautiful. A suggestion: when you sand, start with whatever grit you use than a finer grit until you get to very fine. Each finer grit will take out the scratches from the previous grit. Grits can run from coarse to fine: 80 120 340 400 600 800 1000 1200 and so on until you are satisfied. Just a suggestion but you do great work!
I second this. A common technique in woodworking and antibody finishing. Also, cutting/polishing compounds (I use Maguier’s but there are many) make a glossy mirror finish quickly obtainable without topcoat resins.
It’s important to LOVE what you do. And it shows you love what you do. We need more people like you to be able to express your love of homemade things the satisfaction we get to see it when it’s all done with our beautiful hands 😮 wow. I’m great full to God for my gift and yours of crafty hands.
I love using a pice of plastic, heavy duty and then it peels off of that, but I must say, waxed paper is my favorite! I can peel some of the design drips off and use in a canvas picture.
You are so dang adorable!!! I love your bubbliness!!! I have seen school elmers glue work well, instead of your tape. Taking a brush and spreading it along the bottom. After it dries, topcoat the piece. After the topcoat dries, peel the glue off. And voila! Some people use liquid latex instead of school glue. Your videos are fantastic, and the editing is pretty well done! Keep up the good work Miss Trendsetter!
I just started watching your videos, I got a much wanted resin set for Christmas, it didn’t come with any molds, so I ordered a few different sets from Amazon, I’m addicted, and I haven’t even made my first piece yet, I’m gonna do some tomorrow. I will be going back and watching all of your videos, I just wanted to say, you are gorgeous, your makeup is perfect, love your personality.
Thank you for using soft and mellow music in your videos!!! I cannot tell you how irritating some videos are when the music is too loud or too strange!!! Well done! Great tutorial as well!!!
I see you’re using totes to cover you projects to prevent stuff from landing on them. Just a thought-I use FOOD TENTS for like picnics. They in all sizes-like up to the length of a table but also really convenient 14 inch by 14 inch ones. They also fold up TINY like an umbrella and save SOO much space! I love using them because you can see your project underneath as well. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs that are big time shedders so I understand the “cat hair and dog hair” thing. Even if they aren’t around-their hair lingers for years after they left a room! Lol
I have watched a few of your videos and subscribed! You are afreakindorable!!! I love the attitude you have, you're crazy fun and I can relate. I love how you show your mistakes and flubs to help us "what not to do"! Look forward to watching more and learning bunches from you! Thank you!!
Okay girl, I'm going in. I got the resin (funny, my card declined it due to it's name and I had to clear that up). I got the resin, inks, several molds, and a tub with 10 lbs of silica gel. I have an MFA in animation and I work on automotive 3D all day. Your videos make me want to do something expressive. I can't wait! It's mesmerizing. Here goes!
I just went outside my bungalo and plucked a plithera of colorful 💐! Pressed in a book with paper towel. I need to get a bigger book at thrift store. 💝 the tutorial but not the "errie" 🎶😳 I learned a lot! Thank You!

I have a question, first I LOVE WHAT YOU DO! One of your videos is actually what inspired me to even start this. I just started doing resin art a couple of months ago..I'm obsessed..I literally do it daily. Patience has been a huge challenge. My question is actually about clean up. How do you keep from becoming a sticky mess. No matter what I do or use at the end it's everywhere and I now have had a skin reaction bc I guess since I did use straight acetone directly on my skin it just smeared it into a thin layer I couldn't feel or see.. it cured and 2 weeks later everywhere I typically get resin on me at is burned. I need tips on clean up and on any cleanup tools, products, methods you can provide. Thank you! I love your stuff,I watch you all the time!
I just subscribed but I have been watching your videos on repeat for the past week 😂 I LOVE your work and I have just started creating with resin and I am absolutely obsessed! Continue the great work, your content is amazing and im sure it helps out so many others as it does for myself 💖
Just found your channel and I love it. You are so easy to listen to, down to earth and I love your sense of humour! Also, you say why you do or don't do something instead of leaving us to wonder why. And by the way the colour of your hair is absolutely beautiful :)
These look great! The piece with the flowers and white background is beautifuuul!! Side note: I LOVED the big smile in the mirror when it reflected your face while showing off the finished product. It was GREAT!!!
Love your work! I am having to sand an reapply resin to some pieces and then have more problems. Why do you use the different resin to top coat? Please tell me how it’s better, because I really need some answers. I’m frustrated that some of my resin pieces are not right. Thanks!
Hey I just subscribed! And I love your channel! It's so inspirational to me. I love art so this is very helpful to me. I've been wanting to work with resin for a while now so I'm very excited to learn some new things! ❤

May I suggest instead of plastic wrap or even a garbage bag to get silicone baking mats. They resin peels right off and you can reuse them!
silicone mats come in packs of 3 for 7 bucks on amazon
This is a great idea!!!
I love using a pice of plastic, heavy duty and then it peels off of that, but I must say, waxed paper is my favorite! I can peel some of the design drips off and use in a canvas picture.
Can you do a tutorial on how you hang your resin pieces?
I second this!! Please☺️❣️
I commented too soon. They turned out gorgeous without even extra sanding. I'll do it your way.
The Flower piece is so crystal clear, you can see what is outside the window! Really pretty!
My mom sent me a video of yours and I’ve been sucked into your videos since then. Your work is very appreciated.

Did you use just the "topcoat" layer straight out of the bottle or did you have to mix that with something before you poured it on?
Your fun! :) I like watching your videos! Thanks for being you:)
Great tutorial! So glad you are using a respirator now :D

Thank you for the tutorial. I also do pressed flowers pictures and candles. But haven't tried resin. Am trying to learn about resin art. Great tutorial. It will be helpful if u say what brands of resin to buy and other stuff. All the best
Beautiful job. Thank you for the tips. Hope they help me.🙂

Have you ever tried curing your resin projects in a food dehydrator? Supposed to work well but not sure
Off topic but I love your lip color its gorgeous on you.
Omg. How come the top coat cleared off the scratches? 🤔😱😍 it looks magical
Hi! I'm watching your videos, I love them.
Question, Do we need a top coat type of resin? I am having trouble trying to do it with my regular crystal clear resin. If so, tell me which is the one you're using, please!
Brilliant, thank you
this is so amazing 🥰🥰

Do you have to sand your pieces? Like is it necessary? I just started doing resin crafts and honestly I have no idea what I'm doing 😂
Haha awh me too I want to know !! ^^ If you have to sand all your pieces or only the ones with some ''imperfections'' when you want a glossy effect ?! :)
@@deyyx SAME!!! i need to know especially bc im selling a few i dont want them going unfinished ...
I love yur content so much ! I have a quick question , for the top coating do yu mix resin A & B or yu just used A or B ? Just wondering 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Also wondering
You have to mix A & B otherwise the resin will not set.
Did you use 80 grit for everything or it doesn’t matter because of top coat? You’re the best !!!
