Homestead ideas...🤔. 1) Raise bees. Arizonians will love you ➡ honey 2) Give guided tours ➡ certain areas 3) Grow fruit and nut trees. Growing strawberries will get you far ➡ sell 4) Grow vegetables ➡ sell 5) Farmer's Markets 6) Greenhouse 7) Tall fence around your garden(s) ➡ wildlife 8) Herbs ➡ sell 9) Chickens ➡ eggs I have lived in Arizona since 2020. Formerly from California. Two different worlds for growing produce. In Arizona we get lots of our produce from California. California has the better weather for many fruits. When I hear about people moving to Arizona and starting a homestead, I want you to be successful because the heat is detrimental to most areas. You may need to determine where on your homestead to start your garden and then occasionally try different areas.
Luv what you’re setting out to do! Tiny Shiny Hime does workshops .. so very good idea for the area you’ll be in .. very excited for you all! Luv from Oklahoma 🏡❤️😎
Your channel just popped up as a suggested view. So excited to follow your journey. Being from Cruces myself and recognizing right away that area and your new homestead area was so much fun. I'm too old to homestead, but I can follow you guys. Thanks for starting this channel
As you can see from my name, I'm a trucker. So I drive alot and listen to the radio alot too.. so I found this talk show and it peaked my interests.. Dave Ramsey..! Yeah.. you know the guy.. FPU and all he does. I was also in debt, but not no more..! Being single and focused.. it wasn't long before my paycheck was ALL mine. His BABYSTEPS do work.
Hi.. new subscriber here. I'm Bruce. I'm buying some land in AZ. Something about this video just blew me away. Do you remember that Farm Stand in Oregon you went by..? That belongs to my neighbor. What small world. WOW. How crazy is that. PS. I am also a Believer and follower of Christ. Talk soon..
i would say take one or two things at a time and start out small as to not get overwhelmed. Get those relatively mastered and then move on to the next thing. You don't want to get burnout. That's just what I've learned along the way.
Subscribed. These videos are nice. We are in southwest Washington state but own some land down in globe Arizona. Up in the old copper hills mining ghost town. We plan to make the move down there eventually. Been slowly just working stuff out.
All the best to you and your family. From my own life experience, I realize that the best plans can go awry, but the two of you seem to be on the same page with one another, something that's VERY important in life (and especially in this kind of venture). We look forward to being the witnesses to your journey together as a family.
Subscribed. I’m interested in seeing you develop your property. So, Will you be able to pump water from the river to irrigate? Lots of rocks ! A lot a lot of rocks. Great place for a gravel pit 😂 You never did clarify what hubby’s doing for income. He didn’t really get a chance to talk. What’s he going to do for income ? I can totally see your channel growing. Keep up the consistent content. Filming is pretty good too. Let us see what you’re talking about rather than watching you talk about it. IE: your latest video as you walked down the laneway and back, all we saw was you. (A quick glimpse of laneway entrance) Let others speak and elaborate. You’re obviously the content creator and videographer but so often I see lead creators interrupting and talking over others in the video., just as they start to speak. (Not that I’m any kind of great content creator myself. It’s just a frequent observation of even the biggest channels) All that said, I predict your channel’s going to take off and succeed quickly. Best of luck ! I’ll be watching, amongst your growing subscribers

Just a suggestion for your pop outs on trailer. Use pool noodles to protect your head from sharp corners. Slice then pop them on😊

New subscriber from Uk, I’ve always thought weeds are just as lovely as flowers, they are just flowers where people don’t want them
I wish you success. Look at tiny skinny homestead, I think that's the name. Look at what they are doing.
So will you be remodeling the ranch house and living in that or building your own house.
Hi! As a new viewer have you talked about the specific traits of the land you are after and what are the big desirable factors of the property.
