  • EXPERIENCES WITH GPP ARE NOT UNIVERSAL AND VARY BY PATIENT.
World-renowned artist and designer, Bart Hess, partnered with Boehringer Ingelheim to create a one-of-a-kind art collection to bring awareness to a rare skin disease, generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP).
GPP is a rare skin disease, which is marked by flares, the widespread eruption of pustules, scaling, and reddened and inflamed skin across the body. In severe cases, GPP can lead to hospitalization with life-threatening complications, such as heart failure, renal failure and sepsis.
Inspired by the experiences of real GPP patients, The Unwearable Collection™ uses art pieces to illustrate the physical and emotional impact of living with GPP. Materials, like glass, are manipulated and designed to accurately illustrate what people living with GPP may experience on a daily basis.
