Thanks for a great video again! I think the Droidcam thing can be very interesting! Chatterino could be interesting for the future as well. In case I ever can afford a second screen/computer set up like you have and I have a need for it, I think barrier would also be very handy :)
As for other tools, I don't have enough experience yet, so I honestly have no idea :)

Very nice list. I actually have not heard of some of these. For those not familiar with droid cam it is an amazing application. I use the stand alone application version (not the obs plugin) because it is free but it works great for showing things around my room. Also makes a great doggo cam.

I'm looking at moving to a dual pc setup next year so thanks for showing us Barrier - that looks awesome. I installed Equaliser APO last week (can't remember how I found it) and it's also cracking. I just copied my settings from my Reaper plugins in OBS into to pretty much and now I sound less like monotonous

1. Love your videos and your beeg brain.
2. Gamepad Viewer is still one of the better ones. ( You can also customize the skin but it requires you make a github ).
3. Droidcam OBS is " Alright " but I had issues. I use IVCam, basically an alternative to Droidcam OBS. Free version has Watermark, I have the paid version. I use it as my primary Camera for Streams/Recording.
4. Equalizer APO looks interesting but idk if my mic sounds good half the time. I also usually stream with 2 of us so I need my mic to pick both of us up but don't want BG Noise so it's an issue I'm trying to resolve.
Love how you have the camera setup on the stand PC.. so it's like you are looking through it. PS so going to be evil with audio drive.level APO.. on some friends computers and use some VST on them haha

Been using Equalizer APO for years, love it. I switched from adobe to davinci resolve and Equalizer APO breaks VoiceOvers in resolve. I had to switch to a differ VST Host setup. Just a heads up if anyone is planning on Equalizer APO + davinci resolve.
Which VST host did you go with? I use Davinci Resolve and ive been looking for a way to apply my VST at a driver level so that bit of the video really stuck out to me

Thats funny! I recently started using Chatterino so thanks for the moderation button tips! EqualizerAPO I've had for years now, along with Voicemeeter. I also recently started using Barrier to control my Streaming PC tho I've had issues where it keeps my screens on always if the server is running.
As for DroidCam, it is def a good option for 2nd camera angle, tho for someone who uses TouchPortal, cant do both...

Thanks for the Droidcam tip. I currently purchased Epoccam from Elgato and they recently integrated it to their HUB cam app which unlocked 1080p60fps on my old phone, however, I got a nasty cam flick now. Hope Droidcam will help me.
Can barrier be used to block a program from seeing a second keyboard? I'm using a extra num pad for a diy Elgato with noobs cmdr (thanks for that btw) but it doesn't work well with Apex Legends. It's like Apex hogs all inputs and doesn't let HidMacros see the input. I know I set it up right because it works in all other games I play. Any ideas?
Barrier is actually the perfect program I was looking for. I wanted to create a 3rd "Joint" PC for my wife and I so we don't echo off of each other when playing together with a group.

Equilizer apo didn't work for me, somehow the plugins weren't taking effect. pedalboard works just fine.

@nutty or anybody else with a clue. If i use AUDIO APO, do i need to turn off the Audio EQ on OBS because it will be simply doubled then? Are there any problems with latency with AUDIO APO?

I use a program called input director which allows me to control 2 pc's. The most beautiful part is I can seamlessly copy/paste between both computers
never heard of barriers.. I use a program called Mouse without borders and it basically does the same thing.. Although it does have some limitations when trying to use it while playing some games :(
I wonder if barrier works any better.. concerns me it hasnt been updated for awhile and has a boatload of issues reported

hmm equalizer apo sounds more appealing than routing mic through virtual cable outputs. anyone tried that out? I have the regular stack of plugins like reaper, tdr nova, wider, slick eq, would all that stuff work?
Droid Cam and Barrier are probably the coolest of the 5 features.
I've used Droidcam for Android, but for iOS, I like using Epocam. I don't know what happened tho because I used to be able to connect wirelessly, and now it won't do it no matter how many times I re-install everything. It can still connect through USB tho, and the quality is pretty good, but sadly I can't use it as a wireless camera which can come in handy in some situations.
Question for you, Nutty. Does Equalizer APO have to be open always to function through all of your devices, or once you set it can you close the program?
Can Barrier work with a pc and console? like can it sync with my pc and nintendo switch??

I feel like I’m asking a stupid question but does anyone know if Barrier works between PC and Mac? I do a lot of video editing (FCP) and Music (Logic Pro) streams so I wasn’t sure if that could possibly work or not?
Yep! Linux too. That's its biggest advantage, it works in pretty much anything.

I love the idea of Equalizer APO, but after struggling for hours to get it to affect my mic (and following all of the troubleshooting tips) I keep thinking I'm missing something simple that you would have covered properly if I'd seen your setup. Any thoughts on doing a walk through of this application? I've watched several others and their presentation style has nothing on yours.
Just to add to this, it seems like Equalize APO is the only one that works well with Beacn Mix Create / OBS as far as ensuring your filters stay the way you want it to.

Error,it says we need to pay for the VPN mate,i have a huge problem,i normally stream and i can see no alerts and with vpn it does work but they limited me in kinda....900kbps sometimes 1000 but i normally have 2500 or 6000 without vpn.
He's always funny,that's why im here XD.Question for anyone that wants to help me,i have a weird echo when i play games with my uncle using pc,i disconnect el gato hd60s and plug it back and the echo dissapear but when he opens skype we can hear echo if i turn up volume on voicemeeter,it doesn't happen with consoles only when we try to play on my pc,any solution for that?.

How does phone quality affect droidcam? I have a 7 year old phone and have debated upgrading. I find Droidcam OBS is a bit choppy for me... I don't know if it's a limitation of the phone, or the wifi.
Across all of my old phones, there's a pretty drastic difference in quality so it does depend on the phone that you have.
Stability/frame rate is a bit choppy and inconsistent. I have been playing around with IRL Pro which is MUCH more stable/better quality, but it does have a 1 second delay, so it's a tradeoff.
