Nice cameras, Jas! 😁 If you like testing, you should sign up for their beta testing program if you haven't already. Anytime they need people, they'll send out an email and if you respond, you get put into the pool of testers to choose from.. Any equipment you test is yours to keep. You can't talk about it to anyone if you're invited to a testing program. Not even after it's over and the product has been released. I'm in it. It's fun if you get picked. And eventful. You have to test stuff daily and reply to stuff. I currently have a V4 Wyze cam on my porch, a V3 controlling my garage door opener, and a couple of Wyze Battery Cam Pros, which is another generation of the outdoor cams, IIRC, around the front yard. Plus a bunch of other stuff. The 1st deadbolt they released. Bulbs. Some other stuff. Hope you guys are doing well! 🙏
Cool, thank you for touching up on the digital side of security. A lot of other locksmiths are just fine with auto and the most electrical things they touch might just be access control installs. Aside from masterkeying buildings or servicing residential, any aspiring locksmith should look into NVR/basic networking infrastructure to set up camera systems. It's a very untouched market!
One thing I didn’t mention in the video, the v2 & v3 use a different style of going back on the history (SD card, can record continuously and overwrites after full, appx 5-6 days on 128gb card) compared to the 3pro & 4 (and all other cams after v3 including OG, new doorbell, etc) The history search is much “sleeker” on the cams after v3
What's funny is that I prefer the V3 cam version. I finally figured out on the v4 that you can zoom in for more resolution in the time bar just like in the older versions so that's made it a little easier to get around. I still prefer the older version though. 🤷
If one of those runs on battery, it will have different events since they turn off when not recording where the corded cams always have power. so they record immediately upon movement while the battery camera takes a second to get going.
Which one has the best image ya think?

Always nice to learn about cameras. Thanks!
I also like your V3 pro the best. For contrast and color. Thanks Jason

@@J.C... I do too!
Nice show the data let the watcher decide video, great idea!
Im liking the V3 Pro
I think the Battery Cam Pro is the next version of that, if I'm not mistaken.
Nice to know, Thanks
great video
have a great day
as always, Jason is so wyze!
Nice Thank You
Very Interesting thatbthe V2 picks up lightning but V3 did not.

none run on batteries all plugged in and time synced a few hours before the first 8pm group 🤷♂️
Just thought about the lightning bit. I bet the other 3 cams missed the lightning at the car, and picked up another bolt of lightning??
the “other v3” in the window shows no other lightning 🤷♂️ 04:04 I extended it to show
