I’ve noticed theirs a trend forming with people advocating to not buy real estate and just invest the down payment into the S&P 500. I know it’s been a great run over last decade, but people don’t understand how priceless it is to have stability and security. My simple idea of determining the buy time is that when developer offers ultra low deposit til completion.
Simple and easy
The developer could go broke before the project completes. Then it's not simple.
What would be the lowest deposit the developer offer in your opinion? In metro Vancouver, 20% deposit for 1beds, 15% for 2beds and bigger are required. I'm a potential buyer waiting for the right time
