    I just found the pre/post feature was released so....great job Eventide such an awesome pedal.I owned a timeline, el cap, and mobius from Strymon but they left me feeling cold. I know they work for a lot of people just didn't do it for me. This is a game changer with overdrive AND pre/post. Kudos Eventide!!

    Great job Eventide! This is absolutely brilliant! I dropped everything earlier this morning the moment i saw this vid went live and fired up my H9 Max and the Windows App and went through the whole update process for the app and H9 and started exploring the Crushstation algo's various parameters and discovered a very wide range of tones from Distortion into Overdrive and FUZZ with the combination of the Dist, Pre/Post Sustain, Sag and Grit parameters!!! Wow if H9 was already the coolest pedal on the planet this new algorithm takes it's it beyond! Great job with the playing on the vid Alan Chaput. Love the refreshing sense of humour with the Bib and Claw guys it's hilarious! Thanks Eventide.

    These are great units..very powerful. I have one, but now I need two just for my effects loops..the reverb is simply beautiful and very flexible. The spring reverb and plate are the best I've tried. The pitch algo of H910 H949 will do Van Halen ...the micropitch algo is freaken awesome also.

      Could I inquire if y’all are still rocking these? I’m wondering if I can use these to cut down on some fx units, but I’m worried the software might be outdated because of being ‘discontinued’ or an upcoming ‘h10’ or modern competitor may take throne.

      @@aqueous5099 Yes, buy the max so you get all effects and any new ones that come out for free. I don't see a H10 coming anytime soon, no need for it.

    Please tell me there is some fuzzy goodness in there. Please please! Still great, regardless. Ive had my Max for awhile and still havent even scratched the surface of what it is capable of. One if my very best buys for sure!

      brian patrick There is some fuzz in CrushStation. As a MAX owner, you can get it for free! Simply update to the latest version of H9 Control, update the software on the H9, and restore purchases. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact Eventide support. Thanks!

      לי אסו Hello, With the latest software version, we've incorporated pre/post routing so you can have the H9 before or after the FX loop.

      +‫לי אסו‬‎ buy 2 of them one for fx loop and one for pre post. badass with a footcontroller such as gigrig g2!!

    so how will this work in amps fx loops without a pre/post feature? most H9 users place the H9 in the fx loop so when will pre/post be released ? i thought it would be a no brainer to release it with this OD algo. sounds great but still having questions

      rick jones Pre/Post functionality is now available with the latest software update. It's one of the new features we've added the H9. Thanks!

    Am I using it wrong? It seemed to simply destroy my tone, and it felt "disconnected" from my guitar. I have it placed between my guitar and clean amp.

      I like how Eventide boxes feel between my guitar and amp, but if you notice something you don't like I think you could use a parallel blend mixer so your dry tone passes through all the time.
      Check your mix level in your H9 presets, it has a great impact in the feeling.
      The first thing you should check is if you like it's bypassed tone/feeling. Eventide boxes have a very good buffer for guitars. I use them sometimes solely for this feature. But if you don't like it, Bear in mind that even if you select tru bypass, any time you switch the H9 you are going to get your signal buffered.
      For me that's a plus, but it might not be everybody's cup of tea...

    Is octver polyphonic?

    • @EventideAudio
      @EventideAudio  9 років тому

      Andrzej Pajak It's a straight monophonic octave.

    • @SpiderPolski
      @SpiderPolski 9 років тому

      ***** so... Why it works good with triads???

    • @EventideAudio
      @EventideAudio  9 років тому

      Andrzej Pajak The octaves themselves are single notes but you can play chords into them!

    • @SpiderPolski
      @SpiderPolski 9 років тому

      ***** On H9 ocatver it isn't possible to play triad / chords without artefacts and warblings. It isn't polyphonic. Octaver in CrushStation is in this different.
