Yeah but the Boston Patriots are no longer patriotic. They are for all intents and purposes cheaters. Hey you got to own that shit. Never liked them anyway something dodgy about them like they always had the upper hand or an ace up their sleeve or some kind of cheating ass maneuver
His playing the same as on the record. I listened hard and he was pretty spot on. To hear him play is more than just a sound, it's a memory. A fantasy. A dark night or an early morning. It's a trip man. You can listen to Led Zeppelin's first album any time of the day or night and it will sound appropriate. "Your time is gonna come" sounds particularly satisfying in the morning. Or late at night.
When the fire is really burning hot >>> flames are kickin' & lickin' (jp) - there are sharp snaps and those ear drum pops (jb) - and the wood is movin' all around with that ever playful smoke (rp). Yes, Led Zep was hot fire, but it's a good bed of coals that makes it work - Thank You JPJ! JPJ: the proper foundation.

John Paul Jones will go down in history as the most talented musician of our time... and, he isn't done yet. Thank you JPJ... you changed the world (for the better).
Been a Zep fan for almost 40 years now. It’s easy to be enamored by what Page and Bonham are doing, never mind Plants singing and lyrics, but through the years I’ve learned to listen more closely to what Jones does. He gets so overlooked, yet he was SOOO important to Zeppelin. And like Page, he too was a former studio musician who came into the band as a multi instrumentalist with all the advanced chops any band could wish for. Plus he wrote Black Dog, which is epic in itself with its timeless heavy-hitting sound. It’s awesome to see him get his due and respect with this crowd. 👏👏👏

there’s a lot of bass players i admire and a lot of riffs that are stuck in my head but this… the crowd’s reaction. man that just sent chills and even watered my eyes a little. just makes you realize how lucky we are to be alive in this era.
Listen to the Acclaim and that’s just for one member of Led Zeppelin! Imagine if all three were on stage! And playing Good Times Bad Times with JPJones playing the Bass just made it all so Real! Like they were getting a piece of live Led Zeppelin! And JPJone has aged so well! He really looks good! Thanks for sharing this!
The members of Zeppelin said he is the consamite professional. Always early, had everything set up before anyone got there, and was the last one to leave. He also wrote the charts, he is a true musician in every sense of the word!
My guess, is that only one human(JPJ) in the concert hall was alive when that song was written, but everyone knew the words! The best of the best are always timeless.
Let’s face it, when it’s Led Zep everyone’s like “PAGE PLANT BONHAM” but if you’re at a Ben Harper show and Jonesy walks out you *must* shit your pants. It’s the law.
Wow! Great reaction from the crowd for a great, yet humble legend! He deserves the love of the fans. I'd like to hear a video with better sound quality, though.
A consummate musician of the highest order JPJ be !

I have never seen nor heard an audience more excited than this
After much study and scientific analysis, it has been determined John Paul Jones is the coolest human on earth.
next to bowie
Right behind the coolest guy in R&R.....Mr.Charlie Watts. Charlie has been cool longer,so, that's the only reason he's the coolest.
its a repeatable experiment so yes your white paper on him is indeed accurate
😁

Lucky you people over there with the most indescribable serendipity ...
JPJ is somewhere in the top 5 among bassists, but no one can claim more iconic basslines than him.
I think Mr Entwistle did lat down some most pleasing rebuttals to this claim🙂
No doubt -- but the man is so much more than a bassist. He plays like fifteen instruments. Absolute virtuoso, genius musician.
John Paul Jones is very talented and amazing musician! And very shy guy!!!
