Love the video! Typing this comment on my Samsung Galaxy Fold 5. It took until the 5th iteration where the hinge design allows the inner screen to fold flat before I felt brave enough to try a fold as I mountain bike and have my phone with me when I do. Also, Samsung's foldable software leagues better than all the rest! I just got Pixel 9 Pro XL to try on the Amazon sale for $849 and I had an S22 Ultra before the Fold 5. I traded in the S22 Ultra for $1,000 trade-in credit or else I wouldn't have pulled the trigger on the Fold 5 because of the cost. Now trying a slab phone again and doing hand gymnastics with how unwieldy it is - I just had to put my SIM card back in my Fold 5 and plan to return the Pixel 9 Pro XL. I don't know if once you go fold that there is any going back! 😅 Also, Justin, I have a concern.... The clock behind you did not change from 11:22 throughout the whole video - are you trapped in some sort of time warp? 😱 Blink twice if so. Rescue measures will be established.

Tyvm for your input. I never thought Google Photos would do a better job since Honor is basically using Google's rebranded AI eraser tool and even the file size is smaller after an edit with Google's eraser, but still, the edited picrure's quality seems to be MUCH better!
I wish Honor will allow customers to trade Honor V2 for Honor V3. I believe the Honor V2 is a great phone. However the Honor V3 fixes all of the quirks of honor V2. Also Honor V2 has a better looking back. Pretty slick. Not the biggest fan of the big hexagon camera bump on the Honor V3
Great hardware, but once you get into the software and usage, you see the shortcomings. Took it for a quick test run at the Honor store, and first thing I noticed is the Zoom to fill feature on YT doesn't work on demand as it would on the Z Fold. The other thing is the pen. If they had one attachable to a cover at least, it would do. The pen itself though is a full blown version, that you'll have to carry around separately. Those 2 things alone are deal breakers when coming from the Z Fold. Otherwise, I'd pick one up in a blink.
There are many cases for the V3 with a pen holder so I think you are a Samsung fan trying to avoid the inevitable conclusion that the V3 is better. As the V3 is a lot thinner than the Fold 6, the cases make it look and feel better than the Samsung one. Also, the pen works on the front display of the V3 which is a massive advantage. As for YT, most people won't zoom in as it crops the video and makes it a poor experience. The Honor in the UK had a launch price £400 less than the Fold 6 and also had £400 worth of free gifts including B&O headphones, fast charger, case and 6 months insurance. I find it very hard to imagine anyone choosing the Samsung, and I suspect it will be only diehard Samsung fans that will never venture outside Samsung. Why I would buy the V3 is for the more useful front display aspect ratio. If I use the outside display 50% I want it to be as good as a candy bar phone and I could not live with the Fold 4 for more than a few months--it sucked for me.
I actually prefer the Honor implementation. I don't want to zoom to fill. I like being able to increase the size incrementaly. Ie 1.2. You can't do that on the Samsung
I have the v3. I love it. I also miss one ui. I miss smart things with my smart tags, I miss routines massively. I miss good lock. I miss the gesture navigation options. I miss a lot of baked in one ui apps and ways of doing things. It took me to come away from Samsung's devices due to absolute stagnation in hardware to realise how good and polished the software is. I don't miss the fold 4 being a brick, the unusable front screen. Best of both worlds is the v3 with one ui. Do I regret my change from Samsung after well over 15 years? Nope. They rested on laurels, released what should have been the fold 5, let alone fold 6 as a fold 6 special edition in limited markets. They didn't move the game on like I hoped. Honor have. 'fan boys' is just ridiculous. Up until the last year or two, I picked Samsung for the best hardware and software combination. They haven't done that so I went elsewhere.
Exactly, that's a lot of compromises to shift over, though I do agree that hardware wise, especially with rhe Fold, Samsung's been sitting on it's rear while Chinese brands have leap-frogged ahead. Imagine though, I got 5 Samsung TV's, dishwashers, washing machines and more across my house. No SmartThings in that case is a disaster. Gets you thinking though, how an eco-system can be used against you some times rather than for you. Oh well, waiting for that Z Fold 7 to come out 💩

I find by far the best results for ai erasing is through Google photos. It really is levels above any and the quality is retained

for my first foldable phone i decided to go for the samsung z fold 2 because it was only £250 i dont want to pay well over £1000 for a phone
