RIP Elizabeth Swados, what a pioneer.
i realize I'm kind of off topic but do anybody know a good website to stream newly released movies online?
@Makai Noe I watch on Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
It's unfortunate that this was her only broadway musical because she was absolutely ahead of her time on every level. And an incredible lyricist.
Oh Trini... such dark knowledge in those young eyes. Amazing.
one of the best musicals in my option. so so so good.
For some reason I've been singing lullaby from baby to baby on repeat the last day. Never heard of this musical before and could genuinely barely find out anything about it
Fr, I have to audition for it, but there's no information anywhere
RIP, Bruce Hlibok. Impossible to forget our connection. זיכרונו לברכה Memory for blessing!
I saw this when it came out. I loved it. Evan Miranda, a guy from my neighborhood, was in it. He's in the video: in the overalls.
Carlo Imperato who played Danny Amatullo on Fame, the TV show.
I saw him live on Broadway in the 70s, and again on Fame.
This is awesome.
This is fantastic
This is like a kid version of hair
But only if Hair had bad music
I'love Carlo beautiful!!!!
i wish there was footage of the rap song Enterprise they did ! early hip hop in 1978...influences of New York....someone has any footage???
Same I never got to see it because I wasn't alive yet but my mom raised me on this musical and wish I could watch it
I did have the record of it but it was stolen many years ago.
I played Luis in my high school production in 1981. We added "Out Here on My Own" from Fame.
Josie De Guzman singing alto!!
...any chance this material was used as choreographic reference material when they were staging the original Spring Awakening? *ducks*
There's absolutely no way Runaways didn't have influence on the original musical production of Spring Awakening.
Trini ❤
Misha! 😊
I see Trina Alvarado...is Diane Lane somewhere on stage, too?
Diane was in the show at the Public but was replaced when it transferred.
Robbed! The Tony that year went to a Jukebox Musical called Ain't Misbehavin'. I guess this masterpiece was just too important to vote for.
Influencia en el rap de 1977
Why is the yellow using the wrong arm?
Trini took Debbie Malone’s place…
Based on this performance, I would not want to see the whole play. The song sounds more like a pop song than something you put in a musical.
You're missing out, this show was amazing
Look up the rest of Swados' work. It's quite varied and amazing.
