I know this is 2 years late but love that you have that tat. I got one to remind me that tomorrow isn't a given and to remind me to live every day like it's my last.
If you've ever seen the movie "In Time" with Justin Timberlake in it, everyone has how much time they have to live counting down on their forearm so I got a tattoo on my arm with 000 years 000 days 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds to remind me that today could be my last day and that eventually we have a last day on this earth.

Every generation seems to have one band that receives an unjust load of hate and derision. Once upon a time it was a band named Grand Funk Railroad. Right now, it's Nickelback, but I'm with you, I like a lot of their music.

Nickelback has many good songs.
What I absolutely love about Nickelback is their musical range. They're hard, they're soft, poppy, heavy, FUNKY! These guys can do it all. They've sang dark songs, they've played (like this one) light songs. What's even better? THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR TWENTY YEARS! This particular song was off of their 6th album, Darkhorse, which that album was called their "worst" because, "every song is about sex"... If you liked this track, you should seriously check out, "When We Stand Together" from their album, "Here and Now".

I 'm 65 and think Nickelback Rocks . My 2 kids got me turned on to them when they came out and been to every concert that's come our way .

Love that you're still embracing Nickelback 😁 I've always loved them. Some of their deeper music got me through some dark days. "Never gonna be alone" by them is one that always helps me when I miss my dad. After the last 24 years without him I've not found very many songs that capture that loss as perfect as they do. I recommend that song and the video! Keep on with these reactions, love how you do so many different genres. Umm also their way way earlier stuff might not click with you etc, it was explicit alot of times lol just figured I'd tell you.
Love me some Nickelback, thank you for reacting. The music of Nickelback and Breaking Benjamin got me through the hardest period of my life, I had a series of massive strokes, went from a home schooling mom of 3 children and backpacker/climber to blind, paralyzed, illiterate and no memories. My husband ditched me when he learned that I would always be handicapped, the music helped with the anger and hurt as well as giving me escape, hope and motivation, music is truly a blessing.

People hate on Nickelback because their songs were on the radio so much people got tired of them. Then it just started becoming a thing of hating on Nickelback. People followed it to be in The In Crowd kind of thing cuz it was popular to hate on them.

The reason why people hate Nickelback so much is the fact that they got popular, it was the same thing with Metallica they got popular whenever a band gets popular and is played a lot over the radio people hate them because that's the only artist that is played over the radio

Here's what I've come to realize, most people that give pushback say their music all sounds the same.... Those same people are some of the most close minded people I know. Do some of their songs (instrument wise) sound very familiar/similar.... Absolutely. But the lyrics and message they put out are so far apart, it's ridiculous that people are so close minded. They really do have soooo many good songs, oh btw There are only so many words in a dictionary so heaven forbid they use the same word once or twice in another song. Regardless The message they give is oh so commendable!! Thanks for your awesome REACTION SIR!

You might try "throw yourself away " by nickleback and for some real fun there was a group that did a nickleback cover album called " pickin on nickleback" where they redid nickleback songs with banjos and harmonicas and stuff, but they did a good job on it not just junk covers
