I like the way the sunlight causes tiny lens flares, are that sparkly in real life? And I agree, a basic dice set should have 3d6, and I'd say a specific D&D RPG set should also include 2d20 standard.
That happened under direct sunlight on a very bright morning. Once they were out of direct sunlight, the effect went away. So, under the right conditions, they are sparkly. I think these were meant to evoke the first D&D sets which only had 7 dice, but still extra dice would have been nice
