Chase I’ve got a couple of kayaks that I wanted to try out specially for river fishing and the vibe ghost 130 is on that list! Now because you uploaded your kayak review in starting to sway even more in that decision! Great review it’s always going to be a feast day when I can watch another awesome video Chase appreciate you! Tight lines take care and God bless!
Nice review! Also fish out of an SG110 and agree about the rudder. Huge improvement over not having one, and I can't imagine fishing out of a kayak without.
This was a very insightful video! My confidence on the water goes way up when I have the ability to stand, especially with frog fishing. I wish my perception outlaw had a rudder!
Good review! I saw a SG listed today on marketplace with the Bixpy on the rudder for $1500 and I thought wow, that would be a great get for someone. I'm not sure I could ever give up my Old Town PDL, but I did like the look of that Vibe.
@@yakkittymack oh yea man Old Town PDL is a great kayak and definitely a better choice than a Vibe. I have been looking at kayaks and may end up with an Old Town then keep the Vibe for my river adventures!
@@TeresaOliver1970 hahaha I actually just cleaned it up a couple weeks back and have only taken it on the water one time since! May get it dirty again next week though!
Great 4 year review of the kayak. Sounds like it does everything you want but standing. So if you give a big hook set in a kayak while standing you can't fly out of the kayak? 🤣 That rudder system sounds awesome. That console works for your measuring board great. I've seen other people is kayaks struggle with it in their lap.
@@BankFishingAdventures hahaha sadly it wasn’t even during a hookset that I flipped! lol Yes I used my measuring board on my lap at first and lost a lot of fish trying to measure them!
@@CreekinwithKody thanks for watching! I have completely fallen in love with kayak fishing over the last several years. I dropped you a sub and I’ll check out your videos! I see you’re in Tennessee you going to be hitting the East Tennessee Fishing Expo in a couple weeks?
@southwestindianaoutdooradv4714 I would love to but doubtful I am able to with my schedule. I appreciate the sub! Look forward to watching more of your videos brother!
I've had my FeelFree for 4 years its been an awesome kayak my big complaint about my Feelfree is doesn't like to sit still when trying to work certain baits tracking sucks at times in other words hope to be upgrading to the Native Slayer Propelled LTE 10' or a Nucanoe Unlimited but leaning more towards the Peddle drive yak and use my FeelFree for skinny water. I have a few friends who have Vibes they absolutely love them.
Will say I can actually stand and fish in my kayak for quite some period it does take practice cause your mind is saying this isn't right to stand up like I said eventually you'll say screw this and stand up it'll change everything promise you.
@@WadeLife yea man I actually wanted to pick up a Feelfree before getting my Vibe and there were none anywhere around me even if I chose to drive a few hours. I have noticed the Feelfree sit up higher in the water and they drift in the wind quite a bit so I can see moving during certain presentations. They’re great yaks for sure but yes a Native would be an amazing kayak and so would a Nucanoe. If you’re looking to motorize I feel like Nucanoe is the better choice but Native’s pedal drives are the best on the market.
Dude, great four year follow up. The foot steering component is definitely awesome to have stock! There’s actually a lot more storage than I thought.
@@thatfishingnoob yea man I have few complaints about this kayak. As much as I’m ready to upgrade to a pedal kayak I won’t rush into one.

Great overview Chase. Just a broken cable after 4 years is pretty darn good in my opinion.
