I love the design and features. I can think of many shallow areas you can visit to reach good fishing places in the Florida Everglades. I would add a roof to gat away from the sun. Other than that it looks like a lot of fun
the sun is not good for you, its good for you to a degree or bad enough to kill you. it also heats you up which is a godsend in some places/instances and terrible in others. on a boat like this, and this is a boat, you might as well add some sort of pop up shade.
I own a 2019 fish pro and love it. I fish exclusively in the saltwater and coming from kayak fishing this thing opened up all kinds of possibilities. It seems SeaDoo is starting to add features that are superficial and only for freshwater fishing which is unfortunate. The kayak companies did the same thing. They took their fishing machines and made them all tug boats with lounge chairs.
See that’s been my issue with kayak gear coming out the past couple years. Glad I’m not the only one feeling that way. I’m down here on the Texas coast and a fishpro seems to be a better route but am afraid of that. Can you get pretty shallow with a sandy bottom? And how does it do on those sketchy, rough days on the bay?
@@tylerguild489 for the sea doo they don't recommend you have the motor running in under 3 feet of water or the intake could suck in sand and pebbles and wreck the carbon seal (keeps water out of the hull). Ive already had to replace the seal after i sucked up my anchor rope. As far as stability in the bay I've only felt uncomfortable once and that was like 3' tight chop. Just wasn't fun fishing on it in that stuff.
@@mehmetdtx you can't run them in less than three feet of water or else you run the risk of sucking up pebbles. I did it two weeks ago while beach launching and it ended my trip.
Anyone curious about the huge popularity of fishing kayaks, fishing jetskis and all the like, should just look at the cost of a bass boat. Bass Boat companies foolishly thought they were the only game in town, so they started jacking prices astronomically, for the exact same stuff. I know exactly what the same quality bass boat cost 15 years ago(I was there when it was bought) and what it cost now(been shopping them extensively), its a 300% increase. Don't talk to me about inflation, this is about 8x what across the board inflation has increased in the same timeframe. It's not inflation, it's greed. They thought they could screw us, and now the VAST MAJORITY OF US take other options. LOVING my new fishing kayak, like most people who buy one, for 10x less money than a bass boat, and 85% of the capabilities; I catch a ton of fish from it. I can get some exercise with the pedals or paddles, spot-lock and hit waypoints with the trolling motor, or haul ass with the electric outboard, and with ALL of those extras, its still 4x cheaper than a bass boat. GO BANKRUPT AND CRY, bass boat companies, you have fully earned it.

That looks cool but why did they wast the large cooler space for a bait tank. They should come up with a small compartment bait tank elsewhere on the vessel and keep that cooler for the and catch and cold beverages. I have both on my kayak surely they can do this on the sea do.
This is a great price for what you get out of it. Running a full size boat around is nice but then typically you need a bigger SUV or Truck and a boat launch. Kayaks are nice too but for faster rivers and ocean bays I'd much prefer to have this little machine To bad I'm a poor shore fisherman.
@@billdeprospero8666 it wasn't all mine haha. But the boat cost 2500 plus 4 rods and 3 sets of gear. Captain didn't listen to the storm warning and stayed out fishing. Then the trolling motor died and the gas motor decided to not start. Nobody had floating bags for gear etc. It all sunk

Just need a trolling motor. Starting the motor will scare fish also the wind will blow you out of position in seconds. Anyone docking a jet ski knows once the motor is of you going everywhere.
My Husband who is disabled & has only a left arm is wondering can these be used one handed? i'e left hand. He loves to fish but can only do so out to sea as he cannot cast. probably something he can ill afford too as i'm sure they are very pricey. wish ?I could afford to buy him one, as he's always happy when out fishing, but I worry as his wife and carer when he is out on a pedal kayak as I know he struggles with it
Anything is possible but it would take a lot of work and redesigning as this unit has 2 different finger levers to pull, one on each side of the handlebars. One controls your throttle and the other controls forward, neutral and reverse. I'm sure there is some way to be able to get both on one side. Thanks for watching!
I’ve fished on a ski. It’s very tiring. Bought another 16 ft boat and it’s way better. They have to find a way to adapt a trolling motor to make these a viable option.
@@lmychajluk trolling mode is basically a cruise control at low speed. So you can dial in a certain speed for trolling but doesn’t give you the stealth or control of a trolling motor

If you are comparing apples to apples(livewell, fishfinder, large engine horsepower,) the average bass boat with those capabilities is literally 2x the cost of the MOST EXPENSIVE VERSION of these. I have no issues with my tug boat in the ocean.

The cooler set up would make much more sense if it had a removable divider so I can keep bait on one side and ice my fish and beer on the other.

Specs say they have 'Trolling Mode'. Not sure how it works, though... probably just a low-speed cruise control.

If u mount on front trolling motor with GPS anchor, it will be more effective for real fisherman's
it comes with a trolling mode so a trolling motor would be useless
