How to make moist, soft banana cake with fry pan? #nooven #nomicrowave #nostreamer
Most of us already have a frying pan, so why not try my recipe of banana cake using a frying pan?
You won't even guess that it was cooked using a frying pan "kawali".
⛔ Here are the things you need to take note:
1. Use a thick frying pan "kawali". Skillet will work best, but I don't have it at home. So I just used a non stick pan about "3mm thick".
2. Stove heat should be at it's lowest point to avoid burning the buttom. The bread will be browning at the buttom but I actually love the flavor that comes from it.
3. I always like my banana bread to be dense, but if you want it to have some volume. You can use a combination of baking soda and baking powder. Add in another 1 tsp of baking powder from the recipe.
📝 RECIPE:
7 pcs medium over riped bananas (330g)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp white sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup yogurt OR you can also use buttermilk (1/3 cup of milk and add in 1/2 tbsp vinegar)
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
3/4 cup of all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon powder (optional)

I would really recommend to use partchment paper 😊, para hindi mag stick sa pan lalo na if your using non stick. Pero if your using skillet or hindi naman non stick pero makapal, it should be fine that is if you don't mind po na mag stick yung cake sa baba 😊
