    my husband and children do not like the taste of cilantro, but I love it. I put it in everything. one time I made hummus and my husband complimented me saying it was the best one I'd ever made. I told him it was the cilantro I'd put in it. :D tks for the shout out about the poisonous flower you mentioned at the end. I had no clue.

    Excellent video! What we see most common from gardening channels is the host saying only the minimal information in the shortest amount of time, as opposed to yourself which went the distance to ensure the who, what, where, when, why, and how’s to Cilantro/Corriander growing and it’s uses. Great job!

    Some say most of the flavor is in the stems. I cut them small, they are rather soft and watery. Thank you for your lovely and lively videos!

    • @RainbowGardens
      @RainbowGardens  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, when I "shave the leaves, much of the tender stem stays intact and they are not tough. However, older growth is tough and I do not prefer it.

    Dear Donna you are a wonder woman.
    Never have I seen cilantro been described and explained in such clarity.
    Everything is crisp yet easy to understand.
    You have to teach all of is how you developed such great personality and good research on everything you post on UA-cam.
    You are a perfect example of how a good youtube channel must be.

    Cilantro has been a staple in my diet since childhood. It is my absolute favorite herb! I've always wanted to grow it and have attempted in the past but have not had much success. I now know why! I will follow your growing guide and look forward to cilantro all summer long (who knew you have to re-sow it again and again)! Thank you for this very comprehensive video!

    I have to say I am so thrilled to have found your channel. I don't think I was so happy to subscribe to any other gardening informational Channel. I've just started to dig through my soil to create a bed and this will be my first time gardening. I have to say I am so pleased that your guides are so thorough from beginning to end. The other 'guides' I found online would just show me how to sow and that's it? So confusing esp for a beginner who doesn't even know when to water and what to do. I have started to also right notes according to your videos. I am absolutely in love with your channel! Thank you!!!!!

      @@drmarlenesiegel As far as the roots of cilantro, these may be used by drying them, pulverizing them, and making herbal tinctures- either by themselves or in a proprietary blend. Cilantro and parsley tinctures are used by naturopaths with brain/nerve issues.
