Stunning film. Ill probably do sections of it returning to Funchal daily if possible. Did you have any problems wild camping? I prefer to do it. Can you provide the tracks? My suggestion for you is to start in Kilpisjärvi Finland and take the Nordkalloteden 190 km to Abisko Sweden. Youll be in Norway most of the time, very remote, no village during the trek just a few house's, one road, huts every night, camp anywhere. From Abisko you can resupply and follow the Kungsleden 160 km to Kvikkjok Sweden which i did or continue on the Nordkalloteden to Ritsem or Kvikkjok. Youll love it. Many options. The arctic is incredible especially in Autumn.
Thank you :) . For camping you need to reserve spot. It's totally free, but you need to look with the government of Madeira camping site. I would love to hike in Norway and Sweden. One day I will. Unfortunately the flight from Canada it's really expensive during.
Salut Alex , super professionnel ton vidéo très impressionnant, wow. Nous avons deja échangés sur Facebook sur les long tunnels que l’on retrouve sur les sentiers trekking à Madère .Il fait toujours beaux à Madère sauf que dans les sommets ils pleut très souvant, c’est ainsi que cette petite îles entourée d’eau salée capture son eau potable avec tout les caniveaux et tuyaux le long des sentiers. Tu l’as pas eu facile mais l’accomplissement est d’autant plus grand. A la prochaine, pour moi, ce sera l’Angleterre ( le cotswold way et the Herriot way dans Yorkshire)
Oui et ça donne son charme à l'île :) la.pluie n'est pas de quoi qui me déranges, ça fait partie de l'aventure. Merci beaucoup :) Bon trip en Angleterre :)

Excellent documentary, I will follow your path next month thanks to this. How did you arrive so quickly to Achadas da Cruz from Funchal? Perhaps by bus? As for your next trip I highly recommend the Trois Cirques de la Réunion, especially la Cirque de Mafate.

Nice movie as ... a movie. I miss at least a list of where you traveled from on a given day, a map divided into sections, useful information ... It's a "road movie" but the sight of you still walking in most frames is a pattern duplicated by many ... Imagine, that when I was watching it, I stopped every moment, I had a laptop on my lap and I tried to determine which way you were going, where you were ... It was tiring ... I was going there with a tent, so I was interested in e.g. accommodation, less views that I know from many movies. Well, I do not even know what month it is in Madeira, the movie is published in May, but when it means that May is ... I do not envy you the weather, you were not lucky. Congratulations on making it through the obstacles !! Regards!

Je fais attendre dépendant je suis ou. En ville je suis plus prudent,mais sur les sentiers lorsqu'il n'a pas grand monde je m'en permet plus :)

J'utilise un Garmin Inreach pour avoir la possibilité d'appeler les urgences si il m'arrive de quoi
