Solo Hiking 130 Km across the Island of Madeira

At the end of April 2023 I travelled to Madeira, a Portuguese island in the Atlantic Ocean, known as the Hawaii of Europe. There are quite a few "Across Madeira" thru-hike videos but none seem to actually cross Madeira from its Easternmost point, Ponta de São Lourenço to its Westernmost point, Ponta do Pargo, or vice-versa. They all tend to start or end in Porto Moniz.
Well, I'm here to change that. I've hiked well known trails but I also plotted my own route using AllTrails and other maps which sometimes got me into some sketchy places but in the end it all worked out amazingly, and to be honest, surprisingly well.
I will upload future videos that will be more of a guide to my hike and to the island in general.
