Most deltoid raises are performed in 2 directions. Side delt raises and front delt raises are the most common. But most people miss out on the delt raises performed at a 45 degree angle. Most people only perform the deltoid raise with palm downward or pronated position. But the shoulder and deltoid can gain a lot of strength by also performing them with the thumb up.
