It's said he locked himself up for an entire day before coming out and accepting with heavy heart to govern for Germans. One of the 1st things he did was write to communists and monarchists and ask them to work together and he will help them, at least until they liberate Serbia and he promised to step down once the country was free. Both refused his offer and he was left alone. In spite of it, he has saved hundreds of Chetniks and Partisans as well as thousands of Serbian civilians that Germans were going to shoot cause of 100 for 1 policy but they didn't shoot cause of him, thought it cost him more and more power and he owed more and more favours to Germans while trying to work against them behind their backs. See, fascists and nazis are not the same. Croats had a nazi government, like Germans. Serbs had no nazi government, we had a fascists one instead, like Italy or Spain. Sure, Italy and Spain were Axis but they didn't prosecute anyone based on race or ethnicity, that's not in fascist creed. Fascist believe in country and God being above all and that anyone working for the good of the country and people living in it was good. That's why Nedić tried working with anyone and everyone as long as he could secure survival of as many Serbs possible and Serbia itself. He can't be compared to nazis of Croatia or any Nazi for the fact, because he was not one
You must watch and react to documentary "Yugoslavia - The avoidable war". The documentary dealt in great detail with all the details of the disintegration of Yugoslavia, with comments from the participants themselves from the West both journalists and diplomats. Malagurski and The Weight of Chains have some pro-Yugoslav/communist side. Malagurski is pro-Yugoslav man.
I’ts one thing being a pro-Yugoslav thinking that Yugoslavia should not have been broken up and a different thing wanting to create it again. I of course miss it but I wont say that I want to make it work again by doing the same misstake.

On my opinion, the biggest crime done here is that Serbian government gives subventions to foreign companies, around 200 euros per employee, and the employee works for 300 euro salary. Foreign companies get factories buildings etc) for free and they are tax-exempt. While Serbian small companies are in debt and cannot compete with companies that have a far more favorable conditions. We are slaves in our own country.
You should watch the Juice documentary Hiphopium 4. There are all the major artists from the begining of hiphop in Serbia up to today, expalining how it came about and evolved.

The Germans also took out students from all schools in Kragujevac and many in Kraljevo. In Kragujevac, about 7,000 Serbs were shot in just one day, in Kraljevo about 3,000.

It's said he locked himself up for an entire day before coming out and accepting with heavy heart to govern for Germans. One of the 1st things he did was write to communists and monarchists and ask them to work together and he will help them, at least until they liberate Serbia and he promised to step down once the country was free. Both refused his offer and he was left alone. In spite of it, he has saved hundreds of Chetniks and Partisans as well as thousands of Serbian civilians that Germans were going to shoot cause of 100 for 1 policy but they didn't shoot cause of him, thought it cost him more and more power and he owed more and more favours to Germans while trying to work against them behind their backs. See, fascists and nazis are not the same. Croats had a nazi government, like Germans. Serbs had no nazi government, we had a fascists one instead, like Italy or Spain. Sure, Italy and Spain were Axis but they didn't prosecute anyone based on race or ethnicity, that's not in fascist creed. Fascist believe in country and God being above all and that anyone working for the good of the country and people living in it was good. That's why Nedić tried working with anyone and everyone as long as he could secure survival of as many Serbs possible and Serbia itself. He can't be compared to nazis of Croatia or any Nazi for the fact, because he was not one

You must watch and react to documentary "Yugoslavia - The avoidable war". The documentary dealt in great detail with all the details of the disintegration of Yugoslavia, with comments from the participants themselves from the West both journalists and diplomats. Malagurski and The Weight of Chains have some pro-Yugoslav/communist side. Malagurski is pro-Yugoslav man.
I’ts one thing being a pro-Yugoslav thinking that Yugoslavia should not have been broken up and a different thing wanting to create it again. I of course miss it but I wont say that I want to make it work again by doing the same misstake.

I watched this documentary at least 5x in past. You also have part2 and part3 about differen subjects. Boris is a great director. You can watch his movies about Kosovo and Metohia (Kosovo, can you imagine) and don't miss a documentary about Montenegro (Montenegro, a land devided). Now in your private time (no need for a reacton), watch movies 'Rane' (The Wounds) it's like you are watching 'Vidimo se u citulji', and 'Lepa sela, lepo gore' (Pretty Village, Pretty Flame) about a war in Bosnia. Just so you get the full picture of the 90's. Also, you can watch 'Dara iz Jasenovca' (Dara from Jasenovac). New movie about the Jasenovac concentration camp. You have lot of documentaries about this on UA-cam made during Yugoslavia, but this is not a documentary. It's just a movie. Very hard movie.

On my opinion, the biggest crime done here is that Serbian government gives subventions to foreign companies, around 200 euros per employee, and the employee works for 300 euro salary. Foreign companies get factories buildings etc) for free and they are tax-exempt. While Serbian small companies are in debt and cannot compete with companies that have a far more favorable conditions. We are slaves in our own country.
