Thank you again Alan, a very well explained diagnosis, especially the set up underneath.
The mercedes vans only come in one colour & thats a light shade of rust!!!! I know what I think of merc vans. I've had 6 ranging from a 1982 307 right up a 2012 313 sprinter & they all ended up covered in scabs on every body panel, well engineered & very reliable but I'd had enough of the rust so I changed to transits after that!! Looking forward to the next one & your honest opinion, as always

Well mr. Alan , it would appear your a born lever puller ( liver pooler? ) . Not actually being familiar with the rear brake pad replacement procedure , I’ll just guess the adjustment was backed off for rear caliper removal ? As far as “ BS “ video , anything is welcome .

Alan, how about a video on why Ford were wrong to discontinue the Mondeo ? In the past you have said that the Mondeo became too expensive, but is to quote my boss (who bought a Vignale when his VW died), "It is a lot of car for the money !". Everything else of a similar size is a lot more expensive !

Sales had disappeared. They only sold about 3000 Mondeo's in the UK last year. Everybody ( except me😉) is driving SUVs. It's not worth their while to keep making them.

@@steverpcb Those that were sold were SUVS. Sales of all saloon cars have been drifting down for years and if you look at Mondeo sales they have only been going one way. Mk 4 and 5 sales were far less than Mk1-3 even before the pandemic. You only need to look at the traffic on the roads to see that.

Question is, why was it so loose ? Just lack of maintainance or tampering by someone who doesn't know what they are doing? My son bought a car with spark plugs not tightened down....from a dealer. It runs a lot better now....and oddly enough the handbrake adjustment was all to cock, so we got our Skoda specialist to sort it out properly 👍

Great to see you back again Alan,
I'm missing the Mondeo content, but I do enjoy these workshop tales.
I quite like Toyota cars, have owned a couple in the past, always found them reliable and easy to maintain.
You did seem to be getting a little too excited when testing the handbrake though🤣
Bought an interesting car recently,a 1990 Ford Sierra with a 2.0 pinto.
Only done 45k well maintained in gleaming black....with a coachbuilt body....yes I bought a recently retired hearse 🤣🤣
I know from previous videos that you used to maintain Sierra taxis,so thought you'd like to know there are still a few old sierras knocking about.
