I have this machine and Love it! So glad I got this particular one. Now I Really Need a table so I can flush mount it like an industrial. It sews like one.

Hi. What is the difference between the f series and the dx series ? Is one series more powerful than the other? Meaning a more powerful needle stroke? What is the motor amp of both series?

I would love a demo of putting the buttonhole foot on to loading the button. I have a pfaff 4.0 expression sewing machine and do not like the button hole foot.

I use cone thread. Can you use a thread stand and not have tension problems?

Go with the Juki DX2000. Basically the same machine but you get more feet and a spool stand on the back of the machine.

The only deficiency I found in this video is the lack of demonstration of the knee-lift. For me the knee-lift is one of the greatest features of sewing machines one can have (besides the thread cut feature). Good video, though. The DX-7 is a wonderful machine.

Is this machine good for quilted project bags, leather/vinyl bags?

Honestly I have to say no. When your project gets too thick the machine tells you the presser foot is up and will not proceed.
