Would like to share pros and cons from my perspective Pros: 1) 5* Safety rating 2) Good driving dynamics 3) Super Suspension 4) Best audio system in the segment 5) Very spacious 6) Good Mileage around 25 kmpl highways and 18 kmpl in city 7) Spacious glove box 8) Xpress cool feature Cons: The below cons might not be deal breaker but worth mentioning 1) Its a dust magnet. . The rear attracts dust like a magnet. . Be ready for some hand exercise 2) This car doesn't have a separate lock for the door . Other cars have door handle and a separate lock for each door( Including Nexon provides separate lock with same safety features as like Altroz). So, be careful when you have playful kids sitting near the door. 3) Rear windows doesn't fully goes down when you open them. . 1/4 the of the window is protruding 4) There is no separate light for rear passengers. . Atleast they could have given the light in the middle top of the car 5) The antenna is lengthy and it is not foldable like other cars. . 6) Hand break is too tight and hard. . It might be difficult for ladies to operate it. 7) Rear seat is comfortable but not very comfortable due to its reclining position and under thigh support. . But definitely boot space is very spacious. . Good but not great. . Overall , it's a very good car and I am happy with the purchase. . I didn't notice above cons when I purchased this car but realised later. . So sharing these details so that you can take a wise decision I bought this car Altroz diesel xz+ on August 2021 for around 10.8L in Chennai. . This variant comes with IRA connected car feature. . I thought it would be lifetime free as we are paying almost 40k more than xz variant. . Till now it's free but seems like this may change and we will have to subscribe year on year. .

Fake review about mileage. I have Altroz XZ Diesel Driven 17000 km in one yr City milage 10-12km/ltr & Milage in Express Highway maximum 21 km /Ltr(when Speed restricted to 80-90km per hr) Worst pick up in this segment.
@@transformurself3210 Dpf is a deisel particulate filter which is available by default on all bs6 complaint deisel cars. To reduce pollution now all diesel cars coming with this dpf. Once pollution gets clogged in dpf filter it has to be cleared. If not cleared speed limit will be restricted to 40kmph and then you need to take vehicle to sc to get it cleared
@@sriharithanneeru9063 luckily it was on day time. And it happened within the city limits. Then I had to call service centre people and got it cleared. But they took 4 days to return it. N they also said it will repeat again after 10k drive.
@@MrDas28 10k is very long interval to clog again. I own freestyle and in city dpf clogs very often. In my car it depends on engine idling n low rpm drives. If driven mostly on highways it won't clog for 3000kms or so. If driven in city 80% it clogs within 800kms. I have to drive for 50kms in 3rd gear above 2krpm to clear that on an open highway

Honestly speaking he is faking I own Diesel Altroz from past 1 year City mileage is 14-16 max and highway mileage is 22-24 max when driving at highway speeds like 85-120 kmph so yah fake figures he is saying or else he drives like an old man at 60 kmph
What are you talking man. I got 25-26kmpl in Tiago petrol. I finished Pune - Mangalore 865km in one full tank in Tiago. This one is diesel obviously one can get 26+ easily.

I don't know how can you even comment such stupid dialogue that he would be driving at 60km, you can't even put the gear properly at 5th at 60km and you assume coz of that only he got mileage of 28. Don't take it personally, but that's a stupid way to analyse things..
