Packing cubes are the bomb 💣 all you do is pull them out and put them in a drawer I have traveled to Europe, Jamaica, Mexico an all over the US keeps everything neat
Oh my gosh, these items are HUGE! I travel carry on only internationally. Multiple pairs of sunglasses?? I wear one. They go into their own case if I’m not wearing them. My toiletry bag is a one quart baggie. The only thing you discussed that I use is the AirTag and that’s only if I’m forced to check my carry on luggage. We’ve lived and traveled to many countries. We’ve traveled by car, RV, plane, ship, train, subway, and even military cargo plane. We travel light and fast. It’s far less stressful. I highly recommend ditching the stuff.
Everybody is different. Some ppl care about how they dress and may want to match more accessories with their outfits, and that’s okay. Jesus Christ some of you are ridiculous human beings. If it’s not for you, you don’t need to make a list admonishing her because you opt to take one outfit and a lip balm on vacation.
Sorry but Doesn’t matter how great you think you pack… packing cubes are unmatched for organizing and everything fitting in your suitcase.
You can take unfilled reusable water bottles through security and fill them in the airport. Get a bottle that you can attach to your backpack/luggage with a carabiner!
I love packing cubes not for the packing but for during the trip. Small things like socks, undies, swimwear, it's just nice to have them more contained for when I'm rummaging thru a suitcase!
I travel across the country (air) literally every 3 weeks. I kind of knew the answers for most of your things when I saw them initially lol the problem with the sunglass case (the biggest issue) is the SIZE of it it takes VALUABLE real estate in your suit case! I have the bagsmart version of your larger toiletry case- and LOVE it It stays packed and is very high quality. But it does take up a lot of space. With my status, I get free checked luggage, so its not so much an issue for me taking a larger suitcase but if you are doing carry on only- it certainly can be. I dont use it when I do carry on only. Airtags are a must! The silicon cups- no. I need a cup to have structure, and like you, I worry about it squirting everywhere or ... whatever. I just bring my (albeit heavier) one from home and use a carabiner to clip it to my personal item bag until i get through security. FYI- i do use packing COMPRESSION cubes (not just regular packing cubes- there is a difference) probably 90% of the time.
I wasn't a fan of packing cubes........ until TSA needed to search my suitcase. Since everything was in little cubes they were able to zero in on the offending item (a metal nail file, yep, go me) and easily repack the bag without it being super intrusive. I've also had them search a checked bag, though I'm not sure what they were looking for that time, but I had the note they leave behind and everything was repacked fine.
I have the motion sickness glasses and THEY WORK!! I know they look stupid, but I don't care. Dramamine makes me groggy and the pressure bands don't work/hurt me. You can flex (stretch out) the white part of the glasses so it's not as tight and I put cushion tape by the nose pieces.
We went on vacay (Florida) for 10 days (7 adults ages 19 to 51), I can't stress enough, take large baggies! I realise it may seem wasteful but it's great for wet things when your out, or leftover food items, etc
Enjoying your video! Love the candid and real reviews, thank you!!
Also, if you’ve never tried supergoop, I HIGHLY recommend. I discovered it about 14 years ago and have been hooked ever since. Not greasy or ick, doesn’t make my skin breakout (literally the most sensitive skin ever), and is absorbed quickly without that gross tacky feeling. My youngest is a redhead, just for reference here, NO sun burns, minimal reapplication needed. Went to cozumel last year, applied in our room prior to dressing for the day, were in pool and on beach about 6 hours, nobody had burns. Worth every penny IMO. We use the Play, but are trying the Unseen this summer 😊
Just had to share!
If you keep that beach towel, repurpose that cover to use as a shoe/slipper/flip flop packing bag.
Also I heard Bonine is a good alternative to Dramamine.
I like that you actually put these items to the test. I too, have bought quite a few “travel must”fails!
I got a good laugh when you put on those motion sickness glasses, so it wasn’t a complete waste. 😂
That is a great idea for how to use the cover!
Yes, to the Bonine! It works so well.
The bags with the water bottles are for snacks not to put the water bottles into.
14:32 that’s more so for the smal carryon luggage that’s why not the big one you would pack
For motion sickness I recommend a relief band. It has helped me tremendously. I can wear it, sit in the backseat of a car on a windy road and do something on my phone without getting sick. It does tingle on your wrist and middle finger. How strong that tingle is, on your wrist, can depend on how the relief band is adjusted to your wrist. I don't mind the tingle because I'd much rather be able to enjoy activities, including the car rides to them, without feeling sick. However, I haven't been able to convince my daughters (19 & 24)to use it. Neither of them likes the vibration buzzing in the wrist.
For the makeup brush holder, you can maximize the space if you alternate the larger brushes so the bristles aren't all facing the same way. The handles are slim so put in say, a bronzer brush, then put the blush brush bristles on the handle end of the bronzer brush, etc. I get them all in there that way. Also helps keep transfer to a min. as you don't want foundation on your bronzer brush or blush on your highlighter brush, you know?
Would a barrel pencil case work also?
I am so glad you did this I've been looking at the drink luggage holder and didn't even think about where it goes when you put up your bag.
GREAT video. Love how you showed all and then came back and said how they really worked! Getting a couple things u showed. THANKS
Just an FYI you can take frozen water bottles through TSA and some people have told me you can take frozen ice cubes or a bottle full of ice cubes. You may have to empty whatever is melted
You are the first person to review by actually trying them out and coming back to let us know their use. Excellent vlog thank you. I was thinking of getting one of those water bottles although the one I was looking at had a solid piece around the middle but I was wondering if it would taste bad after a while if the water being in it. I ended up getting a sort of solid plastic type one which is lighter than the metal ones and I got the smaller size. Thank again
Thank you for this review!!! I've been eyeing those collapsible water bottles and now I know to avoid them! I'm also going to pick up those sun bum face sticks now, thank you for the recommendation!!
I bought a silicone water bottle on our Alaska cruise that had a coiled shape, so as you drink your water level down, you could push from the bottom and it would shorten the bottle. When full it is a bit wobbly and doesn't sit completely flat. I used it oncen but as you said there is a plastic taste to the water. I think I will try it again to see if I will keep it. I love stainless water bottles. I put a few ice cubes in them and even when the cubes melt, the water tastes like fresh spring water! I have a smaller Bagallini toiletry bag like yours and I really like it.
This is the most thorough travel essentials video I have clicked in a long time I love it because I’m going on my first cruise and this is a great reference….. and your personality is awesome and I’m a now a new subbie loved the content😁tfs
Buy shampoo and conditioner bars and that way you don't have to travel with big ass bottles
Your research is immensely appreciated. Thank you for taking your time to consider others and test these out. You’re awesome! :)
I love my Mee bluetooth audio converter. It does work really well. I had sun bum EVERYTHING lol......the cream, an aerosol one (never used it), the hair and scalp spray, the face spray, hair styling paste, travel shampoo and conditioner, and a lip balm LOL. It all worked great. I also had a thing called the BevLedge. Its a drink holder/organizer that slides into the window of the plane. Glad you guys had a great trip. My cruise was AMAZING and am already planning another. In all honesty, I didn't even miss being elevated at all. I didn't really even think about it, surprisingly. Yay for vacations!
5 pairs of sunglasses?? I can't.
I bought that exact towel and I’m glad to know our will work well.
I'd like to get Turkish towel for camping. But for travel, I use a sarong. Can wear like a pashima, use as a sheet, use as a beach cover up, and it dries really fast
Loved this....I always want to buy but does it really work out..thank you this was very helpful
Loved this! Very helpfull! As i to go down a rabbithole before every vacay ;)
Awesome finds!
The glasses are to funny!!!😂😂
Love packing cubes
Great video. I also get motion sickness when travelling but unfortunately you don't get Dramamine in the UK. I've been prescribed Cyclozine by my doctor and although it makes you drowsie if you take a while tablet, even half or quarter imensley helps with sickness and doesn't make you drowsie.
Have really bad vertigo… the bracelets didnt work for me. Tried everything. The dramamine non drowsy do work! The regular ones made me really sleepy. You are right being sick during vacation can ruin it! May I suggest the scopolamine patch we use for surgery and put on in preop placed behind your ear. Now you can buy non prescription that is good for 3 days/72 hours, you can take it off and put it back on (Dont forget to wash hands every after touching it).👍🏼 best for cruise. You can read on it more for more info before trying.
We're going on a cruise in Feb and some of these items will definitely be going with us. Loved the video and your honest opinion ❤
Start your anti-nausea medicine a day or so before going on the cruise; while on dry land. Doesn’t work once already onboard.
Such a good video idea!
Thank you for the content
What is your opinion between the sand cloud towel and the Bay Laurel dupe? Differences? Comparable? purchase the dupe or the sand cloud? Much thanks
Great video 💯❤
All I can think about you in the seat next to me drunk on Dramamine with those glasses. 🤓 😂
I hate lukewarm water so straight plastic will not work. I prefer insulated bottles even if they are slightly heavier.
Those glasses are hilarious! But I’m curious to know if they work.
that's interesting does Amazon have a policy where you can send back used items. I can understand if there is a defect or something. In Australia we can never return used items unless they were faulty, so when on youtube I find it amazing that if someone is not happy with the makeup colour they have opened and used they can bring it back. That was very thorough and interesting thank you.
Weird question, but has your kitchen light fixture ever spooked you with its reflection on a spoon? I have the same one and I thought there was a bug in my bowl😅
If you want perfume with you, either rip the promo perfume inserts from magazines or get sample sizes from sephora/etc.
These are my favorite kinds of videos from you!
Pra que esse tamanho todo de caixa de óculos??
I have a toiletries bag that expands in some crazy ways, I have so much stuffed in that thang!!
In the market for a new one myself... do u remember where u got urs?
@Nicole Rogala I think target or Walmart. It looks almost exactly like Chrissy's.
@@chelsea-t ty!
Amazon sells silicone skin for toiletries to prevent leaks.
I’m not even going on vaca but totally gonna get my dtr those headphone have been looking for good kids ones. Oh and I am always with a big sun hat nowadays 😂
For motion sickness - try Ginger pills - take double dose before you go - then back to regular during your trip. Hope that helps.
can you return used stuff ?
Was wondering the same! I wouldn’t ever do that. 😳
Mascara, lip gloss and any other item that can't maintain its own shape like peanut butter, is considered a liquid and is supposed to be in your clear liquids bag, not your makeup brush container.
I couldn't get through this video. I would NEVER take this stuff.
I wear glasss and would feel so nervous to let the airline handle them in my luggage
Brandin Stephens marry white girlfriend ❤❤❤❤
I had a difficult time following you. Kinda hyper and all over the place. Kinda annoying. Sorry. I tried
