Yes, Michele, I love the alarm, and I think they have a new version out now that has monitoring/ emergency calls for a monthly subscription. I just have the simple one, but sometimes I think a loud noise may be enough to scare someone away. If anything, it's loud enough to bust an eardrum if placed up to the ear canal of the bad guy. The pink bag is absolutely fabulous, I’ve looked for bags like that before and never found one so perfect, I’m going to Monaco this summer and the outfit I’m wearing is a combination of beiges and pinks. I like it when my travel items can play several different roles because I am an over-packer and it helps me pack a few less things. I have a lot of solo female travel coming up next year and won't be without the personal alarm. Great travel items again. I love the scarf for myself and the birdie for my daughter. She is 20 with diabetes 1 and travels a lot alone. I think it would make her feel safer. I have a travel adapter for every member in our family with usb and usc ports on it. Love it.
Hi Mariska and welcome to the travel family! Yes, I recommend the Birdie to everyone, especially if you find times when you are traveling alone. It's not a weapon, like pepper spray or taser, but I bet it could some damage when pressed to an ear at 130db. If anything, it's a simple noise-maker, and a lot of times, that's all you need. They even have a new one, Birdie+, that will connect via bluetooth and get you a representative 24/7, fake an "excuse to leave" call, and send an alert to emergency contacts. It does require a subscription, but it's less than $9/month and would be worth the investment. I need to test that one and report back!
I did just get a very discounted Lululemon scarf in their clearance dept online for like $30. I know this Amazon one is sometimes sold out so try hitting up the Lulu clearance to find a good deal. Thank you so much for watching Jessica!

I like this scarf in the video is comparable quality but half the cost (my Lulu was $70 😳). You can get a Lulu on their sale section for about $35 if you catch them at the right time. Sun Bum clear SPF 50. It’s a small tub and can be placed in the liquid bag TSA approved size. Its clear no white cast or sticky. Hard to get as it’s popular.

I like it when my travel items can play several different roles because I am an over-packer and it helps me pack a few less things. I have a lot of solo female travel coming up next year and won't be without the personal alarm. Great travel items again. I love the scarf for myself and the birdie for my daughter. She is 20 with diabetes 1 and travels a lot alone. I think it would make her feel safer. I have a travel adapter for every member in our family with usb and usc ports on it. Love it.
Hi Mariska and welcome to the travel family! Yes, I recommend the Birdie to everyone, especially if you find times when you are traveling alone. It's not a weapon, like pepper spray or taser, but I bet it could some damage when pressed to an ear at 130db. If anything, it's a simple noise-maker, and a lot of times, that's all you need.
They even have a new one, Birdie+, that will connect via bluetooth and get you a representative 24/7, fake an "excuse to leave" call, and send an alert to emergency contacts. It does require a subscription, but it's less than $9/month and would be worth the investment. I need to test that one and report back!
I LOVE that kind of scarf! I have from Lululemon (bought second hand on poshmark lol I don't have Lululemon money) and it is the BEST.
I did just get a very discounted Lululemon scarf in their clearance dept online for like $30. I know this Amazon one is sometimes sold out so try hitting up the Lulu clearance to find a good deal. Thank you so much for watching Jessica!

Excited to try to versatile scarf. I’ve been eyeing the lululemon scarf but I’ve read some bad reviews about the buttons not being reinforced like the first version. Thank you for sharing a more affordable brand.
Hi Unicornucopia! I do have one of those Lululemon scarves and I personally haven’t had any button issues. I find them to be reinforced but only time will tell. I like this scarf in the video is comparable quality but half the cost (my Lulu was $70 😳). You can get a Lulu on their sale section for about $35 if you catch them at the right time. Hi. I love to watch travel essential videos. I am an international travel so I am always looking for new things. I love the scarf. I was in Turkey and had to cover my head. I was in Greece and had to cover knees so that would be handy. I love the bag and the idea for using it to add what you buy to carry on.
