had a similar situation again a pusher last week, was leading 3:1 and serving, ended up losing that set 4:6, it really breaks your confidence when you start making easy mistakes against these guys, and it bugs your head cause you think "i'm better than this guy, how come i'm losing?" so you can't even concentrate well enough to find a way to win the match
That's exactly right! With one set up, 5-1 in the second, i was feeling very confident! Then things started going sideways. It's definitely frustrating playing against that type of player but I've already encountered a few so gonna have to find a way to get the win against them.
@@avetennis Update, just played another match against a pusher and managed to win 6:2 2:6 11:9 in the super tiebreak. One thing i realized throughout the match and corrected was playing on my backfoot when the opponent gives you a deep baloon type of ball. He started doing that a lot in the super tiebreak and as soon as i realized my mistake and started making sure i'm always making a step towards the ball when hitting it, my unforced errors went significantly down and i managed to turn around that tiebreak from 2:5 to 11:9... Keep going brother, one day we're gonna make it 💪 VAMOS!
@@alekoshred Nice man! Good for you. You're definitely right, when I'm playing someone that is just pushing the ball back in I stop stepping into the ball because I'm not trying to be as aggressive any more. But I forget that you have to step into the ball even when you're not trying to go for a winner.
Yeah i need to work on my technique on my forehand. I don't feel comfortable enough with it to really take good swings with it. Weirdly enough i do feel comfortable enough with my backhand to do that now.

Bro improve your forehand swing , take a big swing against pushers and smash it on their face 😜
