Also friends, this is more of a documentary with a bit of skating, than a skating docu with a bit of story 😅 If you you enjoyed the film and want to support us, you can send us a lol something here on Kofi - Ko-fi.com/ downhill254
I love your channel bro you’ve taught me so much. I’ve just now gotten confident with squat slides and can do them in a lane. Keep up the hard work man.
It's gonna be really cool to see a story in regards to you Abuga, as you really have set a new president for dh content and have really reinvigorated both the community and the content sphere.
thumbs up from Europe-Slovenia. 41 years old dude. 1 year owner of longboard. Just loving the sport and beeing one with the moment. Just do what it feels right.
Thank you, Abuga for your passion of this incredible sport, dedication to share your knowledge and truly an inspirational story with more to go. Your outlines sold me on your meticulous attention to detail and have been committed to learning & failing a lot, while always getting back up for more. Thank you. 🙇🏻♂️
This Film had us captivated from start to finish, Dude you inspire us to skate harder and safer everyday! We hope we have the honor of skating with you someday! Thank you and much love from South Africa!
Thank you Abuga for the positive impact you are having on downhill, and the resources you have created for those interested in these experiences, hope this finds you well 🤙
Beautiful work! You and Genna did an excellent job telling your story- it was emotionally captivating, well shot, and engaging. I hope that it gets the recognition it deserves!
Incredible video. The bond between brothers is the most deep rooted thing in this world. My brother was the same as you. You are wise enough to have your helmet on always. Glad you were not seriously injured from that car collision man. Keep it Pushinn. Peace to Your Journey!
I love your channel. This is my go to channel if I need to aquire knowledge, you've already tried, tested and reviewed. Your transparency is unmatched in reviews and it always makes a purchase less stressful.
Hell yeah.. Living your dream there is nothing greater! There are so many people in the world living other people's idea of what life is supposed to be. Your video is very inspiring.
Great insight into your life as a Longboarder and you personally. You are an inspiration and I'm sure Kenyas legend in the making as many will follow in your footsteps..footsteps?! Very slick and professional film. Respect dude. I want to come to Kenya with my Streetluge now! See? Inspired. Thanks Abuga. Make another film!
🙏 great documentary! Thank you everybody that helped make it. I really feel you when you talk about being okay with your past, present, and future self. People really don’t understand downhill longboarding and why we do it . That pressure to do something that people can understand like (cycling or soccer) is always there and something that can be hard to overcome. Happy to see it’s only made you more passionate! much respect man!
Abuga, Great documentary! It *is* inspiring to hear you talk about your process on such a public forum. You are living a contrast to the social norms around you - so I understand your journey (to the degree I can) with self acceptance. It is really cool to hear that in Kenya, there is a mentality of carrying on/not getting down on yourself because of all the hardship that occurs... Hearing you talk about yourself, you are living that. With the disapproval and uncertainty you had choosing your own path- you are carrying on and rolling forward. Also, your videos have been very helpful as I got into this sport with no one to learn from. thoughtful and thorough. -Douglas
Abuga you inspire me. I found you today and your story resonated with me. I love skating. I do not know why but I just do. It might be because its when I am fully conscious. I've been skating a while now but I realized I reached a new level. Thank you for being my resource in downhill skateboarding. I will upload my videos soon. I hope we can ride together one day. Much love and wishes to you
Thanks for sharing your story, stoked to hear more about the man behind the tutorials. I just learned how to push up slide after 3 months of skating and a foot injury and, like you said, I'm ready to get back up and keep on skating. Great documentary!
