Before, I couldn't stand up going downhill because I didn't trust the speed bumps, but within a week of me practicing by myself, I was able to go downhill, and I reached a top speed of 27-28 Mph. I just found this video and I'm gonna try to remember to come back here in 2 weeks and tell you guys what happened and if I got better by watching the video

Is this just a free ride board or can it be used for downhill also

At 60 years old I started skating again after a 25-to-30-year layoff so I'm basically re-learning everything I used to do back in the day. Your videos I'm following very carefully. It's starting to comeback. The mental side of remembering the movements and feet placement along with proper weight distribution are what I'm paying particular attention to. My biggest issue is balance as I've had 2 strokes and have a pinched nerve in my left hip, so things are coming along but more slowly than I'd like. I'll get there but not soon enough. Keep the good videos coming, brother. I need them. I know I'm a little late on this, but I just started the re-learning journey about 2 months ago. (5-15-24).

The one he said is ok but out of budget is the Rayne future killer and the exact board I picked out. Bought board only for $29. Threw it on some blue Gen 6’s with orangutan beefcakes in 83a’s in purple with matching purple hardware. It’s a killer setup 🤟🏾

I had my first big crash on a predrift before i even knew what a predrift was, I just saw how the pros were only putting one hand down on their toeside slides and evolved my shutdown slides until i got my body to face the same direction as the board using my free arm for balance, however one time i kept the board too close and it hooked up, throwing me off, it's so recent that i have the road rash on my back still

Well has anyone try riding their parking brake coming down a mountain hillside in their car? lol. Same effect, understand it’s limitation and application. For me the applied pressure was consistent on both wheels when engage, maybe try using the brakes in front for more stopping power 😅.

I hear the laughter and pure joy from your fellow riders. and almost wish i was riding there with you all..But nowdays not riding so much on my old Madrid longboard. mostly cruising. Hi Bro i didn't tried the Mavericks, probably tomorrow the pros. But i tried the vipers classic and pro and McFlys Classic. I would decribe the classis urethan more into pavement buttery slide feeling and the pros more on the pavement sugar/slightly icy slides with more durable skin/urethan. But both are fun. If i understood it right u testet the pros in 76a and 74a? Or 74a pros and 76a classic, im bit confused 😅
