Nick, it's your car, do what you want with it. Bumping up the HP seems perfectly reasonable. Do anything to improve the Towncar experience. You will truly turn heads if you boost the power. If it were me, I wouldn't change the car so much that you still couldn't recognize what you liked about the car in the first place.
You do have many options when it comes to superchargers. Vortex is the most expensive, any Supercharger that came off of a 99-04 Saleen mustang will also work but are usually hard to find, safest and the easiest bet is the Tork Tech supercharger kit
There’s still PLENTY of these in low mileage condition. Now is the time to do something fun like a supercharger because these aren’t rare yet or need to be preserved. Plus like others have said, it’s your car. Do what you want with it. I think it would be cool to see a nice example like this with more power.

So what do you really want the car to do?? Lots more power to melt tires and race Mustang GTs? Or just make it equal to late model German sedans? I’m of course curious cus I had wanted to do the same sort of with mine at one time. Surprising the hell out of a BMW on the freeway sounds real fun! Can’t wait!
Hey Dan! Thanks for checking it out. I’m not exactly positive for the end goal, but like you said, being able to pull up on the freeway and surprise the hell out of people in a 20 year old Lincoln town car would be priceless! Rolling burnouts would be kind of fun too 😄

I have a 2004 town car with 24k miles. I want to supercharge it.. but worried about how it will pass emissions in Delaware.
