I remember living in Port Saint Lucie, between June 2005 and May 2015, and visiting there in 1996. The amount of development that it went through post-2015, is ridiculously insane. I would like to move back there however.
Port St Lucie is simply a gigantic housing development which was terribly planned, yet has a population of 250,000. There are barely any roads to handle the crush of traffic. One crash will bring gridlock. There are barely any bike lanes, and multiuse trails are nonexistent. There is no downtown area at all! There is no culture. The cost of living is sky high.
@@Kathy-kp7nq I live on tree island and it’s, one of the most, beautiful places in Broward County so I don’t know anything about ghetto. Every place got certain areas that’s, not good but don’t put that on the whole city. Look at Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
If you like New York State, like high taxes, move to Port St Lucie. It's very, very expensive don't move here. Traffic is crazy and getting worse.
Couldn’t agree with you more. We are paying New York taxes in Port St Lucie without getting New York services. Everything you said is the truth.
I unfortunately made that mistake..😖
@@spcltee66 Me too
@@markbotticello-gp9gx I hate it here.
Oh No...so I guess i need to keep going north to Ocala
