@@grouchingtiger Not really. But do I feel confident in my ability to review a crashed plane and, with research and references, explain why it crashed.
Really great stuff. The meta self referencing horror movie (not to be confused with parody) might have started with the 1994 movie Wes Craven's New Nightmare and Scream (1996). Of course these movies didn't fold back on themselves, but referenced to other movies of the same genre or with the same writers/characters/actors. I think that might be the key. As long as you keep the references slightly outside and you maintain stakes and a narrative structure, you avoid a positive feedback loop, which in physics lead to self destruction of a given system. As soon as you spell out: "We are in a movie, we know it and we don't even care", you press the self destruction button, since nothing matters and the whole movie is meaningless.
I hate this movie with a passion. Watched advertising of it that made it look like zombieland (a comedy) and highlighting bill Murray (a very good comdian). Got tickets to see it in theater and ended up with a shit show and a dissatisfied and upset family. Haven't bothered going to a theater since.
Me personally, I went to see a comedy and got a pretentious lecture about how I'm a mindless consumeristic zombie. Avoiding this director like the plague for wasting 2 hours of my life.
I know this is kind of stupid, but, the girl with the long blonde hair really reminds me of the alien from jjba part 4. Or at least, looks like the alien
I tried to enjoy this film, even part of humor and scenes can be actually my type of stuff depending of my mood, but it's indeed and pretentious and subversive swallow experience trying to appeal midwits.
Good analyis BUT similar to critique of film's length 99% of THIS video is supervulous. You repeat same observations multiple times just different words. If 4-5 min MAX you'd have 100,000 views.. not 3,778.. sorry 3,779 after 3 years.
How many movies have you written?
None.
Nor have I engineered a plane or built a bridge; but I know what it looks like when one doesn't work.
@@LUMOSHROOM but you feel confident telling engineers and architects how to do their jobs...

i have a feeling you liked this movie. can u tell me why? or are you not competent enough to say because you haven't written any movies?
You're better off going to christ stuckman post madam web
I once heard an very fitting quite that went something like: "nothing abstract stands when all things material are rubble"

It was a movie that set up to be funny and good but literally just was a here social and political commentary so the critics will like it that is all

You've never seen a Jim Jarmusch film?

Is this one of those pages that cry about “everything being woke”?
Well, you just don't understand cinema. Nothing serious, don't worry.
Please enlighten us, oh noble one with your insight. Clearly, you are of a different caliber in these matters.
@@AndrewChumKaser He's incapable of doing so. Just another troll looking to get a reaction out of whoever. XD

Elaborate on it, child. :)
