The concept should still be the same.Everything is in the same place.Make sure to Apply the MSFS filter when you open the material editor so it only shows you MSFS options

well... we have to GUESS the "latest version" of Convert X is NOT the latest , and have to take it from another page with NO version number. PLEASE be more precise. Thank you. Please implement version numbers in files.
Im not the developer of the program youll have to take that up with him, Also when you start MCX it always shows you if there is an updated version so you can always know if you are on the latest version

I managed to open my dae file without problem with the stable version which does not have the functions for mfs2020, but impossible with the developer version I have these two errors: "ModelConverterX Warning Error while loading modeldef.xml file" and "Error importing file : Unable to open file "E: \ mfs2020 project \ SimpleScenery \ PackageSources \ modelLib \ bulding \ Metz + Cathedral + finished.dae".
one thing ill suggest trying it renaming your file witout the + sign .Not sure if that will work. If not you can download an .obj exporter for sketchup here and then try exporting as obj and importing that into MCX instead sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=OBJexporter You need to create an account there tho but its free

Hey man! I've tried everything what you did exactly in this video, but for some reason Flight Simulator 2020 won't recognize my building. Keep in mind when I compiled it there weren't any errors EXCEPT for business data and creator name missing. When i send my xml file to the fspackagetool it comes up with an error saying version too low, expected 2 got 0?

I can't export the object as a gITF, do you know why?
you should be able to select gltf from the drop down menu . When you click export .not really sure why you won't be able to see it otherwise

This really is awesome but don't forget these models come from Google Maps aren't legal to distribute with any scenery you create.
Actually these are from google SketchUp warehouse not google maps so those are free to use

Where do I get Imagetool.exe that this program asks for. I don't have FSX SDK.
download it from the Help section in the Sim when you enable the SDK

If you get that error you save it in wrong format. Change from DDS to PNG in Material editor
Did the building collide in the game?
No for that you need to enable collisions in the properties window in MCX

Apparently I forgot to add the .XML file in ModelLib (or whatever the folder was called). Sorry for wasting your time man.
