For some reason when i do this exactly, it outputs the entire keyboard to the same channel. I have my zones set up, separate channels for each zone, and zone turned on, and all zones active. Yet, every note on the keyboard registers as zone 1, even though the notes are outside the zone I established. Why??!?! Everything is coming out as Midi CH1... aaargh
I am working with stand alone versions of mainly Omnisphere so far (total beginner right here) and I use an Code61. Somehow I couldn't transfer what I saw in this vid to what I use. Is there any other helpful information out there somewhere? Don't know where to look for...
Can the zones be turned off, I have the light off for the button labeled zone but the buttons to the right with numbers won't fully turn off, I can select another zone button but can't turn the same one off, is there any way to have the lights off as not to confuse me?
only thing this board is missing is a note repeat button for the drum pads... this would be perfect if it did.. that's only thing edging the akai mpk249
Hi 1. I brought the M-audio code 25 and I have the ableton. I installed VST plugin Hybrid and loom. 2. There is no good clear youtube is available how to configure the ableton preferences to communicate with M-audio code 25. 3. Can you make a video and post it in youtube. Do you suggest any book is available to study about this. Greetings Tami
+Dr. K.P. Tamilarasan, Ph.D. The User Guide on the site is helpful. It has more information than the paper guide. I've set everything up with Ableton manually.
Yes they can, download the user manual there is a section that details pads can be edited to different channels, I think you could even split half on one channel and half on another of you needed that.
You probably hit the 'transpose' function, next to the octave up/down if I'm correct. It helps you to transpose the whole keyboard in half steps up or down.
Thank you. That video is awesome. Are you going to make tutorials to explain how to use the faders, the knobs and other functions....etc?

+Patrick McAlister Try the "Note Repeat" function in your DAW instead, this works great.

+Christian Robinson what do you use or title it as seeing as the code 49 isn't listed
Abelton does not recognize my code 49 it doesn't even list it in the preferences choices
Can the pads on the left side be programmed to a different midi channel? or zone? I'm trying to use the pads to control a hardware sampler.
Pads are on midi channel 10, I dont think they can be changed from that channel

Do you still have this keyboard? Any issues so far?

Hey, I had the same problem with my Code61. Check this out: ua-cam.com/video/AUMkO5tBcdw/v-deo.html
Why is my keyboard recording one half step lower in my daw than what I play on the keyboard
