There is good evidence for the niqaab in Islamic law, classical and contemporary scholars disagree whether it's waajib or not but it's definitely not arabisation since the wives of the Prophet pbuh wore it. You can question why break fast with dates. The date fruit is not native to Europe or the Caucasus, it's part of Middle Eastern Arab culture. It's still something we try to do, to emulate the Prophet saws.

Religion is important but culture is even more important because chechen culture is what is unique to chechen people while islam is followed by so many people across the world. Both chechen men and women dress modestly and i especially love the traditional clothing. I feel like chechnya has a great balance when it comes to religion and culture!

Imam Malik said the Niqab is not from the Sunnah.. Anybody who doesn't believe me can read his Mudawana and that is a book of the Salaf and he said he does not like women covering their face unless it's part of the culture like some Berber women.. But he said it is not from the Sunnah. So I also disagree with Niqab and I'm from Algeria not Chechnya
Berber women dont cover their faces originally. The Haik is of Arab origin it was only adopted by Ibadi Berbers who are very Arabized in culture(tho they still speak their language)

So Let them Choose which one suits better for themselves.. There is good evidence for the niqaab in Islamic law, classical and contemporary scholars disagree whether it's waajib or not but it's definitely not arabisation since the wives of the Prophet pbuh wore it.
You can question why break fast with dates. The date fruit is not native to Europe or the Caucasus, it's part of Middle Eastern Arab culture. It's still something we try to do, to emulate the Prophet saws.

Religion is important but culture is even more important because chechen culture is what is unique to chechen people while islam is followed by so many people across the world. Both chechen men and women dress modestly and i especially love the traditional clothing. I feel like chechnya has a great balance when it comes to religion and culture!

Imam Malik said the Niqab is not from the Sunnah.. Anybody who doesn't believe me can read his Mudawana and that is a book of the Salaf and he said he does not like women covering their face unless it's part of the culture like some Berber women.. But he said it is not from the Sunnah. So I also disagree with Niqab and I'm from Algeria not Chechnya

Of course it wasn't as if pre-Islamic societies had no rules on modesty, as some earlier forms of face coverings did exist before Muhammad's time. The niqab is just one Arab interpretation of an Islamic decree out of many interpretations by many peoples.
