Thank you so much, so I can roll my r's when the word starts with r. Unfortunately I can't roll them when its in the middle. Do you have any tips? I practiced rolling my r's when I was 7 years old but never practiced words with the r in the middle or phrases with multiple rs. Thus i never really learned
Great video! Thanks for posting :) I'm just curious, is there any chance you could make a video on how to pronounce the other R's in Dutch (such as the more "French-like R's" and "English-like R's")? I always struggle when I'm trying to say a word that begins with "Gr..." when I'm pronuncing the R more like the French R's.... Hope this made any sense! :)
hi... I would love to but i can't make one myself... because my own R is just like this, and it does not sound really natural when I reproduce another R like french or english...
Jaja, yo soy nativo de español, por ende la R me sale fácilmente. (Haha, I'm a native Spanish speaker, thus the rolling R is easy for me...Eat your heart out!)
Hallo! In English I struggle with a speech impediment with Rs and they sound more like an American W. With is video I am noticing it is even more apparent in Dutch. For example with the word verraden the first r is a w and the second is rolled perfectly. Any tips/ resources? Would I get help with this if I take your e-summer school course?
Today I just learned how to pronounce the rolling r, and this video really helps me consolidate this skill. thank u!!
I'm seriously learning Dutch this year, and this video helps me a lot. Dank u wel!

Why does some Dutch people sometimes say R like English, and sometimes like French R too?
Just different accents
