Nice
Hey NC, got paint n did minor sanding. Thanks
The rings are ptobably rusted together. Put the burner rings in penitrating oil and theyll come apart.
@@winstongoodman3244 i did eventually get it all taken part. Was still nervous about removing and cleaning the gas tube from the tank.
Muffler cement works also!
Would you please let me know the color name of the Krylon High Heat Max spray paint?
@@dunordtom krylon high heat max
@dunordtom there was no specific color on the bottle. The cap was just silver. I got it from lowes
It can be fixed I'll take it.
Hey there! Liked your video. What part number are you using for the master & auxiliary burner set? I noticed this model uses a seal and finding them has been an issue.
Thanks for watching. So the manual for my 424 states the part for the aux ring assembly is 413D3461, the master is 425A3451. I didn't order any new parts, and the seal seemed to be dry rotted when I cleaned the ring, so not sure what value it was actually adding.
Looks like the website www.oldcolemanparts.com has burner kits
Thanks for the input!
High heat silicon! Tada!
I have a 424 that will soon be going to the trash it likes to burst into flames
Really? That bad. Mine just started to have issues staying lit. Figure it needed a good cleaning
Since new?
Send it to me and I'll fix it for you.
